Needed a small portable speaker for work. Sound is amazing(many ppl comment about it as theyre surprised) . Connectivity is super fast and battery has lasted all day. Carry strap is extremely beneficial, without a closing clasp that many have i thiught it would come off easily but not the case at all! Overall very convienant device, and esthetically pleasing.

I use this all the time while I'm taking a shower. It's plenty loud and is water resistant so the shower mist doesn't harm it. I wouldn't get soap on it though. Get two! They pair together as stereo speakers and it works awesome.

I’ve used this speaker for about a month now and I really like it. It is loud and the bass surpassed my expectations. The size of it is really nice too, it is about the size of a can of Campbell’s soup and it fits in the cup holder of my bicycle. The strap on its side can come in handy for when you want to swing it at a wild animal coming at you in the woods. The speaker feels solid and well made, enough to withstand a strong impact. The $50 price tag is a bit much, but if you can find it on sale for about $40 or $35 it is a definite buy.

For such a small speaker, it really puts out the sound! Just try to put it in a place where it won't fall, as it has a tendency to 'walk' around whatever you put it on, it really kicks out the bass. The sound is a little thin/muddy, but I think they favored the bass, and high end, so the mid-range is there, but seems a little thin. Still a very good small speaker (I have 2). Recommended. The strap is very helpful. Don't count this little guy out.

Very good Sound, Low price, Reliable, and tough enough to take to work!. I have gotten 3 of these bad boys so far, they fit great in a cup holder and fill my truck cab with clear loud music. I got 3 thinking i would be replacing them soon due to my rough treatment, But so far the 1st one is taking abuse but still going!.

This Sony EXTRA BASS speaker is indeed waterproof. My speaker was submerged underwater for sometime and came out working perfectly. Excellent battery life. The bass is also "extra" for those that like to "pump up" the jams. Great purchase; would recommend this inexpensive item.

Excellent compact speaker; nice sound; easy to use. Charge it completely before first use--- takes about 4 hours for complete charge: DO IT. After that, it is easy to connect to device. I love the size too. Price was good. I do recommend it.

Sounds is great for clipping it on a bag for hiking, or close to body listen without disturbing others. Has held up well. It can get washed out if you take to beach on high wind days. Battery has lasted awhile too.

I love my Sony SRS XB-13 bluetooth speakers. Got them at a discounted price $40. Value for my money. Its been close to a year of using them. - They has excellent battery life. - in built microphone, so can be used for phone calls while listening to videos/music. - sound quality of very good. - This is helpful when working from home. I don't have to wear earphones/headphones through put the day. I use them for my online meetings and never had any problem with sound quality. - range is decent. - solid build quality. They fell numerously but no damage to sound quality. Buy two and pair them to get surround sound feeling of a theatre system.

I bought this for my 8yo MacBook Pro when the speakers started going because swapping those speakers is rocket surgery. It’s louder than the stock mid-2014 speakers and the microphone is clearer. The battery lasts pretty long, but if you forget to charge it you can use it while it’s plugged in. It also fits nicely in a backpack. This was built for budget/portability and it delivers on both. My family uses it for video calls and playing the Sims, and it does music a bit better than iPhone speaker quality. If you want more than that, don’t expect miracles despite the “Extra Bass” moniker. We are all bound by the laws of physics.

There is a lot of sound packed into this small package. Battery lasts forever, recharging is easy, and -- it floats. Durable/weather-proof and easily syncs with others.

I love the portable speaker. Great for indoors. Fabulous clear sound and banging bass. Battery life is good, too. Worth the purchase.

It's an acceptable bluetooth speaker. The sound quality is good, but the battery life degrades noticeable over time. One issue is that when battery starts going low, the volume goes down a lot, which is annoying. I would prefer the volume to be full power and then cut off rather than slowly decreasing near the end.

Typical Sony - a really solid piece of engineering. Gives great sound overall, clear treble and thumping bass. It has survived being drenched overnight in a rainstorm and, after allowing time to dry out (in a polybag of silica gel packs) , no loss in sound or length of operation. Good value for money.

I'd recommend paying a little more for something bigger. I purchased this specifically for a tubing exclusion and although it sounds good, battery lasted the whole trip and survived being on a creek, the bass is not as "extra" as the name implies and it is not loud. There were other groups with speakers much louder than these. I do plan to keep these as I really like how these look and the portability but will swap if I find something that looks similar and performs better.

the Sony extra bass speaker is good to use while getting ready in your room, bathroom or if your in your office and what some music just for yourself. sound and range are good for a bedroom size place. battery is great last a long time on one charge

Great battery life. Gets loud but good quality. I like that its small.

Provides relatively big sound in a small package for a reasonable price.
