Laptop itself works great, however it was missing drivers and windows was not installed correctly. Tablet mode is convenient when using in my recliner but otherwise its a little big and clumsy to use for a tablet, but the touch responsive screen is as good as my galaxy s5. Key sensitivity is squishy, but yet very responsive. Display is amazingly clear in HD. Extremely fast in loading programs and managing data. Sound quality is very good, and very loud despite the speakers being hidden. Battery life is good 5-6 hours on power saver playing movies. Aluminum case is beautiful, but leaves terrible finger prints. Backlit keyboard is awesome I can write essays in a pitch black room. I am mainly disappointed in the geek squad certification. When I first got the computer the LAN card drivers were missing and what good is a computer that doesn't connect to the internet, as to how this passed geeksquad certification is beyond me, and their only solution was to return the product for a refund, so I fixed it myself.

Pros: lightweight, thin, touch screen, fast, converts to a tablet, audio volume, battery life Possible cons: no optical drive, no number pad, availability, weaker wifi antennae At the time I bought this, it was exactly what I was looking for. I bought the model refurbished, and while I was apprehensive it turned out to be a great choice. Couldn't beat what I was getting for the price. Windows 8.1 remains tricky, but operating system aside this performing a hundred times better than my previous laptop.

So far this is a beautiful machine! It is fast, compact (ish), has a beautiful screen and changes from laptop to tablet very easily. I didn't want a convertible that had a detachable keyboard, what would I do with it when I wasn't using it? I read and applied some common solutions so I wasn't surprised by the 'no mousepad response', 'length of time for updating' and Sony has a tutorial that helped me with navigation/gestures. No more problems noted. Love it!! Note, if you have a Google account, you can be set up and rocking along in a matter of minutes.

All in all I like this product. It is very convenient with the 2 in 1 flexibility. The display is great, keyboard is very comfortable. Also, the material is durable. It just could have been so much better if it didn't produce fan noise from time to time even if I am just opening a few tabs. Another thing is it is kinda heavy for a 2in1 that doesn't have an optical drive.

I like the this computer and it's great for the value. Plenty of memory, touch screen is versatile and the screen flips over to use as a tablet. The battery life is also remarkable at 12 hours. The computer is great for business with 8 gig of ram but versatile enough for a student.

This is one of the coolest laptops out there. Not only is it a laptop and a tablet, it is also a TV. Now nobody will probably use the TV feature, but it's cool to have. Performance is nothing special. It's actually rather slow. Looks amazing with the brushed steel and chrome letter look on the outside. The back lit keyboard is beautiful. The only downside is that you can't change the color of the back lighting. Overall it's a good laptop.

Purchased primarily because of the flip factor but it is still too big to use regularly as a tablet. It is also slightly slow, especially for a unit with 8GB RAM. I am looking to install an SSD at some point in the not too distant future and see if that makes a difference. If I had to do it again would purchase an Ultrabook WITHOUT the Flip factor. But it is good to have the Flip option. Very nice screen.

Good value, nice computer and tablet in one. I bought 2 for my twin daughters to start college. They love the versatility of using as a laptop or a tablet. I bought the optional Sony stylus for it, it is great. Stylus is very responsive. Great for taking notes.

We got a good buy on this computer because it was reconditioned. We were looking for a tablet but this was small & about half the price plus it has a keyboard so we didn't have to buy that like with a tablet. Hate the software that's on it though so we've hardly used it yet because it's so difficult. Even my daughter can't figure it out.

I love my laptop except for a few glitches that happened. The Touch screen had an issue with it being delayed and freezing, but my husband fixed it for me. Now it works perfect. Im still getting used to the mouse/touchpad. Sometimes when Im using the mouse it goes to a completely different screen when i barley touch it. It gets annoying but Im getting used to this computer. It is my first laptop. The camera sucks on this computer, but the video quality when i stream and skype is great.

I had a touchscreen laptop before purchasing this one, but it could not convert into a tablet. This has been my favorite laptop to own in awhile, and I have gone through many laptops. If this one broke I would buy the exact same kind.

went in to buy a mid tier laptop for work and home use, in my price range, I was looking at bulkier laptops which did not even have the tablet function. Saw the refurbished section and found this Sony Vaio, for its price I could not find anything close with so much functionality. I mean the construction, the casing, the touch screen, everything was solid.. on top of that the other 'brand new' laptops were much bulkier whereas this Sony Vaio is sleek with just the right screen size..

Overall, very good purchase. I wanted a touch screen, and this was the largest screen I could get in a flip that wasn't bulky. Really like the folding feature! Excellent for business or personal use.

It is amazing computer only after download all the updates from windows. I will recommend it acknowledge that it is heave, therefore it's functionality like table it is no too effective.

I purchased the refurbished Vaio 2 in 1. The touchscreen is super responsive, and it barely takes any time to load large programs or internet pages.

This is the second VAIO I purchased from bestbuy. Still got issues on the screen. Since it is refurbished item,worth the price.

I bought one and it was defective. So, I returned that one and bought this another one for $580 with tax. I was a little suspicious that this also may have some defects because it was refurbished at the first place, but it works fine still. I'm pretty happy with this laptop. I also/always like SONY's design too :) Only thing I still don't like is windows 8.....I have to look up for some operations still.....

It is a very nice laptop, it has great performance and screen quality. It runs great and I have not had any problems with it. I'm loving the flip thing too! It's very useful, easy and nice.
