The product was a certified refurbish laptop, if they had put the plastic on the screen you could nor tell the difference from a brand new one. very please with the product, my son is using it for Homework and is very happy

The laptop was nice at first but the touch screen stopped working, if you restart it it will work for a couple of minutes and then stop again. ???

Really useful, fast, overall a really good laptop. I've had many and this is my favorite. Battery life is super long. Tablet factor is the best part.

First, the webcam didn't work once I upgraded to Windows 8.1. Then, 20 days after my purchase (5 days after the return period) the laptop crashed. It took two weeks to be fixed, but it wasn't even fixed properly (the wires were loose) so I had to send it in again for another two weeks! Throughout this process, Sony provided horrible customer service and was unapologetic for failing to fix the laptop properly the first time. This situation was especially stressful since it happened my first month of school. I explained my situation to Sony customer service but they rudely said there was nothing they could do but keep trying to repair the laptop. I went a month without a laptop and Sony did absolutely nothing to address my situation. It was a horrible way to start my senior year at UC Berkeley and I completely regret this purchase. I would never recommend Sony Vaio laptops to anyone.

I love sony computers,is very easy to work with and compatible with everything. Love the battery life and the design too. It's a good buy and I will always use sony laptops

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST LAPTOP EVER. SCREEN WONT SCROLL THROUGH THE POUCH PAD AND AFTER PERFORMING AN UPDATE, THE ENTIRE TOUCH SCREEN STOPPED WORKING.

Out of the box the touch screen became erratic. A little heavy for a 14 in. system

I love how this can be used as a laptop or a tablet. It's still taking me a bit getting used to Windows 8, but the apps are fun to use.

Over all this Sony is good. Fast and easy setup. the design is very impress.

It is hard for me to learn how to use it because of my age and chemo brain. I'm working on it though.

I bought this laptop and the next day returned it for service because the mouse jumped all over the screen when I wasn't even touching it and the apps would just open and close on their own. I returned it to the geek squad who said this was a common problem and they would fix it. Two days later I picked up the laptop used it for 5 minutes and the same problem happened. I returned it again to the geek squad and showed them how it wasn't fixed and they said they couldn't fix it and yellow tagged it for destruction.

Pros - Nice crisp screen, fast processor, solidly built Cons - Laptop gets hot. poor battery life and most of all, terrible wifi. Wifi constantly cuts out and loses network connections.

Kind of easy to get used to using it, just eed to use it.

This computer stop working after 2 weeks of service and to be exchanged for a new one.
