I bought these because they were cheap and I didn't know what I wanted. I got what I paid for. They are "staticy" at times and sound quality is just ok. I have to hit the auto tune button often on initial use to make them work. Just an annoyance. I'm going to look for something better.

There were problems with getting the batteries to charge that I seem to have been able to "fix". But the biggest problem is that there is a regular "tick" in the headphones that seems like it's coming from some sort of interference. The whole reason I want RF Wireless headphones is that they *should* be less vulnerable to interference than Bluetooth. I feel like I'm just going to have to buy the $300+ headphones from Sennheiser.

Good clear and crisp sound. Since this is a refurbished item, my saving vs the new in box was substantial. It uses inexpensive rechargeable battery pack that can easily replaced by user. Expect the battery pack can be recharged at least 500 full cycles.

Volume is hard to control. It’s a little too loud even on lowest volume control. Over all it’s ok.

My system is crazy! Needed a wireless headphone. What I liked was in my opinion too much! Seen this one refurbished. Works like a charm! No instructions but easy to figure out. Or go to YouTube! Sound great. Bluetooth also! Thank you.

Not a bad pair but only because of the price. One problem I had was it doesn't work through the hdmi port. Had to plug it into the headphone jack of the TV. Would only recommend if you're not big into sound quality, just want a wireless TV headphone.

Received this headphone system quickly. Worked perfectly right out of the box. Very comfortable fit. Turns off automatically when left on. Longer use per charge than our previous ones which cost double. Highly recommend.

    Dead in 8 months

I had an older version of these headphones, and they gave many years of good, comfortable service. Finally, the battery deteriorated so static increased, and the ear cushions began to fall apart. I bought the current item as a replacement. On the plus side, the new headphones had very little static. Additionally, my hat size is small, and these could be made slightly tighter than the previous ones, so they fit my head slightly better. And... well, that's it for pluses. Comparing to my old Sony set, these headphones were not nearly as comfortable. The ear cushions are both stiffer and thinner. The volume control was different, but just as hard to manipulate as before. And finally, the kicker. I purchased these 8 months ago, and they are completely dead. They started simply not turning on when I flipped the switch. Sometimes I switch it a few times, and they would come on. Other times, I popped them back on the charging stand (where they always stayed), and after a little while, I could turn them on. Eventually, they just won't come on at all - and I am done with them. I won't buy this product again, and you shouldn't either. I don't buy extended warranty programs, because I believe it's up to the manufacturer to make quality products - and if they don't, you don't buy the products any more. I am therefore moving on to other choices.

The problem with these headphones is that they must be physically connected to the device to send a radio wave to the phones. There was no place on the sound bar for such an attachment. I immediately exchanged these for a WHRF700 which is real Bluetooth. That is a good product. The WHRF400 is not!

The Sony WHRF400 RF Wireless headphones work well but sometimes spontaneously disconnect from Bluetooth when an app (like Apple ITunes or Zoom) is activated. What works best is to only connect the headphones via pairing after the app is open. Otherwise OK.
