    Sorry to resort to writing a review, but I have gotten nowhere with Tech support. I bought this soundbar to help with the terrible sound of the Sony KD-65X75K TV. Well, it doesn't help. Not sure if it is the TV or the Soundbar, that's for Sony to figure out. So, here's the problems. 1) It sounds FLAT. YES, I adjusted all available sound settings. 2) It does not always connect. 3) If it does connect, it does not communicate with the TV, to turn the TVs sound OFF. You have both on, and it's like being in a cave. 4) It does not sync with the TV lips. 1-4 was on Bluetooth. 5) Using the HDMI cable, does not always turn the bar OFF. Calling tech support (what a laugh) there answer is "run the update and call us back" Sony should be ashamed of this product as well as the KD-65X75K TV.

    I hangs down, not very sleek, I thought it would be flush with the TV it’s not! I guess the sound is good

    Coming from a 10 year old Sony sound base, I thought there would be some improvements over the last 10 years. I was completely wrong. The price is way to high for what you get. Only one sound field where the 10 year old unit had 8. No bass or treble controls on this unit. You need to turn the sound bar up to 50-60 to get real volume out of it. The remote is joke. The display is super small and can hardly be seen.

    Regrets for the money

    It's ok when it's working. There are times when the sound cuts off and goes back to the TV. Have to plug it from time to time. It cuts back on a couple of minutes after I turn off the TV.

    Works well with Sony HDTV, but hard to adjust

    This sound bar works well with the Sony HDTV purchased at the same time, but I find it hard to adjust using the remote control box supplied. I'm still trying to figure out how the "bass" controls work.

    Overall good sound however it cuts in and out, sometimes fully out to where you have to reset it as in turn it off then back on.

We apologize on the other hand if you've been facing intermittent sound with it, here are some steps you can try to fix the problem:
      1- Make sure the soundbar is up to date, you can do this by downloading the Bravia connect app and then go to settings > software update > update the software
      2- Remove wireless devices that may cause interference such as cordless phones, other bluetooth devices, routers etc.

    I have only had it for about 3 weeks. I think my old TV with just the TV speakers was better. The salespeople insisted that I needed a sound bar because the rear speakers weren't good enough. The bass only has 3 settings and the volume just shows on the screen as a "bar" rather than the sound level.

    Had issues with the sound bar and had to have a technician correct the issue of having defective sound. Since then I have not had any issues.

    Restrictive Bass Settings - None are "Just Right"

    Full disclosure upfront: I bought this sound bar specifically for the purpose of listening to streamed music from my smart TV, to get better/fuller fidelity than my TV speakers, and am not giving my rating based on any other use (e.g., sound quality for movies). For my use, I'm rating this sound bar as "fair", only 2 stars. This sound bar, which has built-in sub woofers, gives you only 3 settings for the bass: Min, Mid, and Max. Min gives you barely-detectable bass and sounds like you're listening to the music on a cheap transistor radio. Mid gives you and adequate amount of bass, but it's "muddy", not clean and punchy, Max gives you on overwhelming amount of bass ... too much that floods the clarity of the music.
