Best entry level sound system if you are looking for a soundbar with base

Great quality, sounds is amazing and set up was easy

I wanted to stick with Sony as I just bought a Sony TV. The HT-S350 had excellent reviews, but came out in 2019. The HT-S400 came out this year as did my TV so I thought this would be a perfect match. This is basically considered the upgrade to the HT-S350, but with better sound. I have to say that I am very happy with my purchase. The sound is great, and the subwoofer is a nicely added bass boost. It sounds very cinematic. For $200.00, you really can't go wrong. I would recommend this.

This makes movies better, looks so nice & sleek, and is easy to set up and use.

This system allowed us to lower the volume on the TV. It was so easy to ser up.

Geat sound bar! I was impressed with the sound level. It works great in my large master bedroom, I was surprised with the amount of bass it has. Just make sure you place the sub somewhere along the wall that the tv is on because some of the voices come out of the sub and will create an echo if placed to the side or behind your listing position. Overall geat little package for a small apartment or a medium to large bedroom.

This item works well w/ my Sony TV. I like that I can change the base level as I do like a lot more bass in my sound!

I have Bose 900 sound bar with 700 woofer: then I bought HT-400 at 1/8 the cost for another home. I am so amazed at stunning bass and excellent sound quality especially for streaming music. Yes it does not have ATMOS and other fancy sound effects but it will definitely work for whatever you need it for. At this price, it is a steal.

This unit has some great powerful sound when needed, and at same time for normal speech and action sounds adds just the right amount of bass for a good sound. It's not a 1000 watt/dollar unit to rattle the windows, but it fills my room with excellent loud sound. This unit is integrated with my Sony A95L TV and once set up, it works with the tv remote control. It has it's own remote control that can be used to vary some of the setup features.

Great sound! We have tested it at each level and sound, and we love it. We would definitely recommend it.

Bought as an open box, great item for the price but i feel like the sound bar iteslf lacks a little with bass and lower sounds compared to my older LG sound bar. Sub makes up for that a bit. Only small complaint but overall we are happy.

Sony surround sound is amazing. Very good quality sound. Easy to use and great base.

This is my second Sony Sound Bar (my first one lasting 8-years OUTSIDE) I have this sound bar installed under a water proof deck exposed to the hot and cold extremes. With that said, the sound from the bar is very loud and the bass is phenomenal. I Bluetooth this to my iPhone and works seamlessly. The include remote works well too.

This was so easy to setup and start using. Really easy features to use, once the settings are set it automatically turns on and off with the TV. Looks great and the subwoofer doesn't take up any room. Perfect addition for my new TV.
