It worked well the first ten days of having it, now we’re twenty days in. It turns up really loud not matching the tv volume. It shuts off randomly and stops working. Now I’m stuck with a defective sound bar because I’m past the exchange date.

This is my second Sony S400, return the first one was a open box, subwoofer wasn't playing , bought a new one had my TV on with soundbar running then all sudden no sound the BT was displayed this happened all the time, I'm returning it get my money back

When it actually works, it's great. It'll stay on for hours when we're not using it, but when we turn the TV on and start actually using it, it randomly turns off from time to time. Sony Support has been useless.

Bluetooth subwoofer doesn’t work most of the time, no way to adjust the bass or treble. Ended up getting a sound bar that has a wired subwoofer and adjustable bass and treble for less money.

There is a very perceivable lack of mid and high-bass. I only hear very low thumping bass from the subwoofer, and upper-mids and above from the bar. Very unnatural sounding. I prefer the crappy sound from the TV speakers.
I could also perceive some delay between the video and sound.

Worst sound bar in the world. DO NOT BUY. Automaticly raises volume to the max on its own. Cannot be fixed. Its a manufacturer defect on all of them ever made. This was a complete rip off and con job by Sony. Im very suprprised by this product, and not in a good way

After only two months, the volume controls no longer work. Whenever I try to adjust the volume, it will turn up really high even if I’m trying to lower it. It’s unusable because of this. Definitely would not recommend.

The box that this sound bar came in did NOT have a connecting wire in order for the subwoofer to be plugged in. When my wife went to the best Buy store that we purchased this unit from she was not well received by your CUSTOMER CIRCUS team. I'm going to move my business elsewhere.

I can't get it to work and it's too late to take back. I had to take back another one that I think the manager just tried to unload on me. I'm very disappointed in Best Buy for this.

The subwoofer was non existant you couldn't tell you had one and the sound quality was very poor. I took it back and bought a Katana which is a much better speaker.
