Voice clarity -the main reason I got a soundbar- is lacking. Yes, it is better than the speakers in my Sony tv (. 85 inch Bravia) but it certainly does not make me say “wow, I’m glad I spent that $$ on this thing”..

Works as expected

The bass sounds surprisingly deep considering it’s an internal subwoofer within this unit. Sounds really good for the basic model that it is and the price is right.

Sound problem

The sound bar keeps switching from tv speakers to sound bar and back again. When this happens the tv goes black! This happens several times a day! Now this morning the sound went out completely and we had to restart the system to get sound!

Posted .Hi JohnE, we're sorry to hear that you have an issue with your Sony unit. Please make sure that the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the TV and the sound bar. Use the HDMI ARC/eARC port on both devices if available. Restart both the TV and the sound bar. You can do this by unplugging them from the power source for a few minutes and then plugging them back in. Please follow this link for more details:
