Comes on for no reason.

There is a Sony software/hardware issue. Sound bar is connected with e-arc hdmi to my Sony Bravia tv. After shutting tv off which also controls the sound bar, the sound bar comes back on for a few brief seconds and scrolls MUTING on the front of the bar. This is my bedroom tv. Just when I fall asleep the sound bar comes on for no reason. The TV remains off. Several people are complaining about this issue.

The bar begins to create distortions pass 50%. The sound is super clear for dialog but the base cold be more balance. Overall if you can buy it for around 300-400 price range and can add a subwofeer and rear speackers you had a quality product. At 800.00 price tag no way. The sound setting need to be adjusted.

Thew sound they cover the whole room. You only need the tv remote as it controls all three. I like the soundbar a lot and does exactly what it i supposed to do which is be better than the TV speakers. Great purchase indeed.

The 55" screen size reflects a modest sized room and feel this sound bar is a perfect match to support the room size. Adds a lot to movie enjoyment and also perfect when we listened to music with streaming services. We would recommend to others and also advice that you start with Soundbar only before taking step to add subwoofer or rear speakers at least in our instance, given room size. More than sufficient to cover all spectrums of sound!

If you are not paying close attion you will be looking around the room to see where the noise is coming from. My wife has mentioned that someone was at the door when she hears someone knocking on TV. I would recomend this to anyone that is a little older on has suffered any hearing loss. This is a great product for the price.
