As far as stock controllers, it’s by far the most reliable out there that I have tried (and I have bought many other brands). It’s small for my hands, but all controllers are too small honestly. Use this with windows PC, it has a couple of features that I prefer to disable, which is windows will detect this controller as an audio input/output device which each time you connect it changes audio setting, that can be annoying, but if you disable it as an audio device it works perfectly afterwards!

Got the PS4 slim with the new controller and than ended up buying this one as well. Controller works great as expected, long battery life (about 7 hours of continuous play on a COD/titanfall type of games) and than all you have to do is get a long usb cable (not included) for about 10 dollars and you're set. Its gotta built in speaker as well as lights on the front of the controller that can be seen while playing a game.

No issues with the controller. Easy to unpackage and plug into system to use. I took advantage of the 'parking lot delivery to your car' service, and the store came out in a short amount of time. I recommend buying again.

my old controller's left stick was becoming weird and was playing Resident Evil Revelations. Somehow, its gotten weird and I couldn't play it properly. with this controller, it feel like brand new all over again. Just perfect. strongly recommend to anyone if your controller starts to feel weird to you? Buy a new one. :) oh I also got it on sale for less than $39.99.

This is my first controller other than the one that came with my ps4 at purchase about 4 years ago. It functions just like the other controller and seems high quality. I really like the added light on top of the touchpad, it is nice to see the lighting effects when I'm playing rather than them just shooting out of the top of the controller. The battery life is great too!

Color looks great. Connecting to the PS4 was easy and now I can sign into my account at any time or my S/O can sign in to his account. Useful set up. Buttons feel great. The thumb pads feel rough but its new, that's to be expected. Overall great product, great color, packaging looked fine after being sent and it arrived in pretty good time as well.

The PS4 controller is the best controller for the PS4 by Sony. I have tried off-brand controllers and they died extremely fast. This controller has been going since I bought it.

I waited 2 years to make this review. Here it is. The quality is amazing. Arrived in mint condition. The mic port worked. The charge port worked. The battery lasts all day long. No drift issues after a few months, but after 2 years, only slightly that is easily fixed by blowing into the joysticks. I suspect dirt since I am a heavy gamer. If you're looking for a Ps4 controller that doesn't give out on you easily then I suggest buying off Best Buy. I still use the controller to this day and it has been good to me through shooters and rpgs alike. The product was heavy as a legit Sony Ps4 Controller should be. Came in a squared box as it should be and not some plastic box formed like the controller as it should not be. If you're a fellow gamers finding it difficult as to where to buy a good controller, then go with Best Buy. Trust. Thanks Best Buy. I'll be buying my Sony hardware products from you guys from now on.

There's not much that can be said about a controller. Anyone that pays attention to console releases won't learn anything from me. But, I feel like saying a few things about the DualShock4. 1) It has the best ergonomics from a Playstation controller yet. 2) The analog sticks are near-perfect. The concave button tops are more conducive to clicking and feel more natural using more of your thumbs' surface. 3) Built in headphone jack. This means that you can use a cheapo-depot mobile headset, and you are in-game chat ready. This is a huge improvement. And also an extremely low barrier of entry for chatting in-game. 4) Touch pad. OK, there's not so much use out of it yet, but I like the mouse/trackpad action on it. And using the entire pad as a button is a good way to add features without losing buttons. And it's accessible to left and right dominant-handed users 5) I like having different colors in my controllers. The white is less glacier, and more eggshell, for you color palette geeks out there. 6) Shoulder buttons are better in every way. The concave design for the analog sticks were copied on the L2 and R2 buttons, much to my ergonomic love. So there you have it. Best PlayStation Controller Ever. Oh, right. The asterisk. Well, the influence from Nintendo's controller was apparent all the back to the original PS1 controller, and with every console release, there have been improvements, however incremental, so I say it's the best PS controller ever, because it is, for now. Wait until we see what controller Nintendo does for its next console, and I bet those are the improvements you'll see on the next evolution of the DualShock.

Great working controller. Liked the color. Fits comfortably in hands while playing.
