i pre-ordered this item and was able to pick it up on release day it seems like alot of stores don't have these in stock to buy unless u pre-order if any not sure why that is but i love the device i have small hands and fits perfectly for them and thumbsticks are smaller but yes make sure u have a ps5 and a recommend internet of 15 mbps for it to work well it wont work without a ps5 and wifi no lag issues at all since playing on it for awhile.

Best choice I’ve made. Love how we can travel with it and still be able to play the games we love. Kids love it also.

Awesome product but if the internet isnt the best, good luck tring to connect to your ps5. Wish it ran on its own platform.

With the introduction of game streaming with out the ps5 to actually be on, this was a fun to have around when youre out and about.

Love the portal, finally I have the power of my PlayStation 5 in my heads no matter where I’m at in my house. Can play spiderman 2 and grand theft auto on the comfort of my toilet when that times calls. I’m able to spend time with my family and also play my game!! That’s a big win for me lol. No don’t be fooled in order to enjoy the portal you have to own a PlayStation 5. It’s not a stand along console but and accessory to the ps5.

Was on the fence about buying it but well worth the purchase. Must have good internet connection though.

This is a great extension of the at home system to have away from home!

For what it is this is the best way to remote play the PS5. Its essentially a dualshock controller with a screen. The screen even though it isnt OLED is bright and vibrant. The remote play experience will vary based on your internet speed but for me on my 5ghz signal it works really good. I dont have my PS5 hardlined either. I havent tried it away from home yet so i cant speak on that as of now. Great device great price too.

Kids excited to get the Playstation for Christmas but had to leave to visit relatives.... Blew their minds when we pulled this out for them to play in the car.

The graphics are nice didn't know that you have to connect to the Playstation 5 to play games that's my only problem but over all i like it

This device was. Represented badly or people don’t take the time to read carefully. This was never meant to be any but what it’s meant to be. This portal is amazing in every way as long as you have a great connection. Recommended to used of you have to two option on WiFi to use the 5GHz option. Make sure you ps5 is connected to the same one as well or even better to use Ethernet. No laughs runs smoothly. Still get the hiccups but minor

Great system. Love that I my son can use the hand held console when he is out of town for work as opposed to having to pack up his whole system.

Ive seen mixed reviews about the portal decided to try it and I definitely dont regret my purchase!

I do not mind that it is only remote play, I only game at home - this is the main complaint I have heard from peiple, that it doesnt play games natively. Remote play works great with my PS5 ethernet plugged into a wireless extension plugin. Makes it easy to get some gaming in with others in the house using the TV. Hopefully this becomes more available for people to buy and also some colored versions!

I was skeptical on the need for this since I’ve never used remote play. But with a little man who likes to play spiderman at all times I’m now able to have him use the portal while freeing up the living room tv. I hate that it lacks Bluetooth but overall I’ve had zero issues with connecting and using. I’ve even tried it on the WiFi where I worked and it played flawlessly. This wasn’t needed but I’m glad I got it.

I'm loving the playstation portal only problem is that you can play or stream games you paid for under your playstation store.

Very cool, the graphics surprised me. Not sure if the battery holds for 12 hours but i recommend it. Btw it is prone to stick drift so get it with insurance.

I got this so that i can play while my wife watches her programming on TV. I can play from any room in the APT. I love the large vibrant screen. Fits nicely in my hands. Pairing to my PS5 console was easy. NO COmplaints.
