Best gift I needed to give myself! So glad I invested in my Portal!

This is great if you have good internet connection and if you have the high tier subscription you can play the games on the cloud which make it really worth having it you travel and you should also get the PlayStation charging station goes great with it

When the PS Portal first got announced I knew I had to have it! Best Buy went live with having them in stock in November 2023 and I was able to snag one up! I’ve never had this much fun with remote play! I can lie down, play on the couch while watching tv too, and or play outside. I’m happy with my purchase.

Great way to play your Playstation in any room in your house. I did have to tweak some sttings with my wifi but it works great now!

First off, I got this open box. It was a little dirty and the USB wire was missing. Once I cleaned it, it was in great condition. The device itself does what it was meant to do but not without its hiccups. The PS5 needs to be wired for a satisfying experience. Also, I had to do port forwarding in order to connect to it outside of my home. With that done, I still occasionally have PS5 connection issues. It's usually remedied by disconnecting and reconnecting the Portal or manually starting up the PS5 (which kinda defeats the purpose of remote play). In the end, I'm happy with it. I'm actually playing more of my PS+ games library due to this thing. I see that as a win.

I love this thing has great quality while cloud gaming but it is annoying that it only works with the subscriptions for ps plus not everyone wants to pay that

Great buy, very convenient, not my child joins us in the living room is not locked away because he can transfer the game on the TV for the device

I am so excited for what Sony has in store for the next generation of portable devices. The portal is an amazing product, especially since they added their beta cloud streaming feature. It is so easy to hop on the game for a quick little hour session without having to power up the whole system. Super easy for people who don’t have a lot of time and just wanna play for a quick 30 minutes or so, I would definitely recommend this product. The price point is reasonable too especially if you get an out of the box one.

I will recommend this if you are away from home or simply dont want to sit infront of the tv playing the game and want to lay down online play is lagging but i play offline games and it works fine for me sometimes often disconnect i will say its worth the $200. Get it if you have good wifi

I love my portal it helps me spend time with my wife while I play the game I can b laying next to her in bed or what ever but I don't have to b stuck in front of the tv to play the game love my portal

Honestly , it’s the best thing I’ve bought in a long time. And now since all the updates happened you don’t even need a ps5 just psplus

I have had the playstation portal for a week now and enjoy it very much. I would say it lags but very little though. Its convenient when you dont want to play somewwhere else around your house. I would reccomend you have fast internet to be able to enjoy portal.

It's a great product and serves a very specific purpose. It streams games from your Playstation 5 to this handheld. Best used if your PS5 is on ethernet and connected to the same network as this handheld, AKA you're at home where the PS5 is. However, i recently traveled to Florida and was able to play Final Fantasy XVI, streamed from my PS5 in California, with still very usable input lag. Quality is amazing, setup is quick and easy, and the controller is basically a Dualsense cut in half (which is a good thing). Drawbacks are lack of a web browser so you cannot connect to public wifi requiring a website agreement. No bluetooth so only audio options are built in speakers (they're okay), aux port, or PS Link headset/ear buds. Also i think this is a huge missed opportunity to allow support for game streaming classic PS1/2/3 titles via PS Plus. This could be a huge subscriber boost for Sony if they enabled PS Plus game streaming without the need of a PS5. Perhaps in the bext iteration.

Really cool device that allows me to play PS5 games in bed while the wife hogs the tv. The only negative is that sometimes my crappy internet isn’t performing well enough to play but most of the time it works flawlessly .

Love the gaming system it’s nice black and sleek and very portable. I love the online gaming on the go. It’s a must have system.

Move to whatever room you want or whoever’s house you want and play your games. As long as you have a good enough Wifi connection at home and Wifi/hotspot on your phone you can play your digital games or what disc is currently in your console. The PlayStation Portal is worth the money especially if you can’t always sit infront of your tv. Buy it!!
