Before buying I seen so many YouTube reviews that had a lot of negative to say about this device. I took a chance and I absolutely love it. I see on Best Buy the device has 2117 reviews averaging 4.5 stars. I think it goes to say that the average user finds this device awesome as opposed to the YouTubers who reviewed it.

I have to reconnect to the internet each time I use it. Motion controls are not great for my son when he's in his bed. Still a wonderful device.

It was a very good product but the reason I rate it a 4 star was because I couldn’t connect my 5G hotspot to it so it was only useable in house WIFI and not hotspot. And it also turned your PS5 on when you are not there. So overall I do not know if it was that only problem with that particular PS portal or my hotspot

It was really amazing playing games on it like fortnight and cod. It was really easy to set up and I traveled with it is still connected to my ps5 from home. I really enjoyed it a lot.

Playing playstation exclusives just got that much better! I've put in over 40 hours of Horizon Forbidden West on here with almost no hiccups. I have an ethernet cable hooked up to the PS5 and only have 20Mbps of upload speed but it's enough for an almost seemless experience. I do experience some resolutions dips when first buffering but have had no disconnects so far.

I was a bit skeptical at first when it came to this device but after having it for a week and a half I’ve enjoyed it. I have yet to test it outside with stable wifi but at home its fun to be able to play and not have to wait for someone to stop playing the nintendo switch. The graphics are impeccable for ps5 games but not as great for non remastered ps4 games. Either way, i’ve enjoyed it!

The remote works but the wifi is faulty at times. Im not sure how to repair that on the item. When it works, it works well.

This is a good, albeit limited device. I was surprised how well it worked at home, although having an Xfinity wifi router means there are limitations. Even in the same room, the wireless signal doesn't always connect. I also couldn't get it to function while I was away form the house -- it simply wouldn't connect. The device essentially requires a strong non-ISP provided router, so there will be that added cost. Other than that, it's a nice second screen to use to play Final Fantasy while watching things on the main TV.

The PS Portable is great for me. I can play games while others get to watch tv. Suites my needs but understood why it wouldn't work for other people who want a Portable device outside their home.

I bought this for my son for his birthday and loved it. My 5 year old grandson plays with it too. This is a must have for the PS5 enthusiast!

Stunning quality for a remote player! And with the cloud streaming option available now, it’s even more viable. Feels like a proper PS5 controller in your hands too! Overall high quality fun.

This little device does exactly what Sony says it does…it’s a portable PS5. It’s a nice addition to the ecosystem and haven’t had any real issues accept connectivity in and out when using hotspot but none with WiFi. The kids use it mostly and they seem to enjoy it. It allows them to pretty much be anywhere in the house. Overall a very good investment and highly recommend.

Love it. While it is rather large for something "portable", it's still not particularly heavy, easy to set up and looks great, Admittedly, when everyone at home is on the streaming/listening to something, the bandwidth constraints do become noticeable while playing on this. But really, this is a nice piece of hardware

Just as the box stated the Portal was in excellent shape. Had all items in box and saved some money what more can you ask for.

It is great at what it does as a streaming ONLY device, you can’t download games to it. Even handels some FPS well (I have played a lot of Helldivers 2 and Destiny 2), and makes grinding some levels be for bed easy. Also yiu have to have your PS5 hardwired with a LAN cable, if yiu don’t the latency can get had to deal with.

Does great at home, all over the board using your phone as a hotspot.

Package came in time. The PS Portal was also well wrapped. Tested it instantly, and no regrets. I can game wherever, whenever as long there is internet. I also tried mobile hotspot. Not the greatest experience, but its playable
