Definitely a must have ! I'm so glad they came out with this. The original PSP was amazing , I believe it came out before it's time. This is an absolute upgrade. My whole family loves everything about it. Very easy to navigate! Best buy was amazing at helping me place the order and get it to me fast!

This device is AMAZING!
Was hesitant about purchasing one of these at first.
Did some research and made absolute sure that my internet connection had the juice for playing games on it.
Everything about this purchase makes me happy!
PS5 games in bed…c’mon!

I bought an open box excellent condition and it didn't even look like it had been used. The only downside is the Portal has to be on the same network as the PS5 but if you only have on TV it allows you to play without taking up the TV.

Honestly I’m not going to lie, I have been having a lot of fun on this while at home. I have been gaming more while chilling with the wife on the couch while she’s wanting to watch movies or a show. I love the fact you get the same enjoyment of playing on this device as you would in front of a TV.

Unfortunately it was as “meh” of a product as I had imagined. Im not shocked to find so may similar disappointing reviews but I am surprised that there are so many positive ones. It’s just a screen for the ps5 gaming console, which is clear with any decent research. Still, my 10 year old and I gave it a shot. Super glitchy, didn’t matter what WiFi the portal was on or the ps5 itself. All WiFi test speeds good. Definitely finicky to set up the right connections at first to be able to turn on the ps5 remotely (chat gpt gave best guidance when working through a Linksys mesh node network that was blocking capability to talk to the base unit). After a week even my son agreed to send it back which says it all. Not a good product. Neat idea maybe kinda? But in execution it fails.

Had my doubts at first but once I had it in my hands and started playing with it, I really enjoyed it and it definitely is an extension of the PlayStation five if, and when you’re not around your home, we have a lot of people around you can take it with you as long as connected the same network

While the handgeld has some comfortable controls and came in at a steal during Black Friday, the portal has issues baked into its design that diminish its potential value. The handheld is streaming only as opposed to being able to download your library onto it directly. Not only that but the analog sticks can be fragile, a disapointing fact when considering the cost of the handheld when bought at its MSRP.

As long you got a stronger Internet at your house then you are good. For me, my upload speed is crappy, so best place for me to play with the Portal is at home on the same network. Is it worth buying, if you have a faster connection and want to play when you are out and bout yes.

They should have called this the "Dadstation". You want to know why this thing is sold out? Fathers everywhere pre ordered this thing to finally play their games when their family takes over their TV. I bought two of them 1 for my son and 1 for my man. They love it and really enjoy playing on it everyday
