When it works, it works phenomenally. Connectivity can be an issue at times but overall very nice product.

Under the right circumstances, Portal does a solid job! If you follow advice of how to get the best network stuff figured out, works well. I can complete backlog games from the comfort of any room in the house.

Fantastic! Now I can play my games, while I ignore my wife as she watches her Drama shows and Documentaries. Just make sure you connect your PS5 via Ethernet to avoid a headache of figuring out why you keep disconnecting.

It works flawlessly to remote play my cosole when visiting my parents for the holidays, way easier than lugging my console over when staying for a long weekend! No input lag or noticible difference compared to playing on my tv at home. It did take some time to get used to the wider feel of the controls but it is as comfortable as a regular controler.

This was something that I never knew I needed. It gives me the ability to play my games while my kids and wife can still watch the tv. I’ve been able to catch up on games I’ve been meaning to play for awhile.

Broke within 4 hours of gameplay the right thumbstick wont move up or down and i have great wifi and this crap still lags on games like call of duty tge system is only good for games like spiderman

Great if you have ps plus subscription or a ps5 to stream to the device.

I purchased this item for my son for Father’s Day and he loves it

I purchased the PS Portal because I specifically wanted a lightweight remoteplay device for my PS5 with a physical mute button. I have an 3 Eero 6E mesh routers and i still have problems with smooth playback so im guessing this device needs a very optimal setup to be nearly lag free. Results may vary, but it still works well enough.

While it has its obvious limitations of needing a PS5 to source the content, it's absolutely fantastic for those who want to be able to play games either away from their PS5, or when family is monopolizing the television.

There is nothing more conducive to being a blue collared, single parent, gamer than having the convenience of laying in bed, sitting on the porch or soaking in the tub even. Than being able to do all that while playing PS5!! Thank you Best Buy.

If you don’t have good WiFi coverage this item is a waste of $. Other than that I enjoy playing in other rooms of my house without being stuck to one room. The WiFi is the key to successful game play it will lag on sports games and timing it key with those games.

It’s a nice controller that is used outdoor and when you are not beside your ps5

Absolutely love using my PS Portal around the home as my ps5 is upstairs in the bedroom, so if the kiddo and wife are downstairs in the living room I can game out while they are using the living room tv. Definitely make sure your ps5 system is hardwired to your internet, it helps the Portal to run much smoother.

Good but only if you have really fast internet,if not it’s not worth it

24 blue collar worker in a middle bo6 free weekend event , don’t get it if you have bad WiFi at your crib home slice wont be the console it’s your prehistoric internet unit
