As a dad/husband, this device fills a needed hole. Want to spend family time, but also want to game. Having an upstairs game room made it impossoble to have both at once. This device allows for both. I do have excellent wifi though. If you dont, you may have problems.

I bought three of these, one for myself and two for gifts. I have been able to play a PS5 from my house in Northern Arkansas all the way from Manhattan, Kansas and another in Dallas, Texas. It's my opinion that if you have decent bandwidth on yborh ends, you should have a similar experience.

This little device is one of my best purchases. Literally a hand held ps5. If you haven’t bought one, you better run and get one. 10/10 would recommend.

This is great for the dad gamers out there. I got this because during the week i would like to get a few hours in here or there, before dinner or in between some family time, instead of having to wait for the weekend to play long sessions, it is prefect for me.

I experience zero lag with the Portal after connecting my PS5 directly to my wifi with a cat6a (75ft). The price is right for what it does. My only complaint is Sony's gaming division, once again, making things unnecessarily difficult to charge.

Probably one of the best investments if you’re a big gamer. I mainly recommend it for single player games because the connection issues

My PlayStation portal is everything that I wanted and everything that I asked for my only problem is the Wi-Fi feature in the portal doesn’t seem as strong and has some lagging problems but other than that it worked fine.

I bought this with the expectation of using the portal while away from my physical PS5. And it has performed very well in that aspect. I have no issues connecting. I love the feel of the portal in the hand. I have no regrets. Just what I thought.

Very great product if you are wanting to play games from your PS5 and are not home. You do require a solid WIFI connection but once that is met, amazing product and a ton of fun! Would recommend for anyone who owes a PS5

As someone who wants to make progress on games while laying in bed this is a great accessory to have The image quality is pretty good compared to using remote play on my other devices Be warned, make sure your WiFi quality (like a mesh system) is superb before using this

Perfect for on the go gaming! I would recommend upgrading your PS membership to have cloud gaming if you purchase a portal.

When I would like to play games and my son wants to watch a movie its very convenient for me to still play while a movie is playing. Great device.

I travel a great deal for work, and love to play on to go. This is perfect for those that can't play as much at home, and need something to do in their spare time. As long as you have a decent internet connection, and you home system is on or in rest mode, you can play non-stop.

As long as you have a strong wifi this device is amazing. I would recommend making sure your PS5 is hardwired. Mine already was so no issues. But ive heard of other folks having issues if their PS5 was connected Wi-Fi rather than it being hard wired.

With the new update why wouldnt you grab one! It was made for those that cant seem to find time to play.

Too laggy and slow must be my internet connection but I have a gig internet speed

Wish games had a way to differentiate settings for ps5 vs portal. Some games, you lower the quality and can play with easy (like Duty). Must have good internet for this thing to work well. If not, you're going to hate it.
