I use the portal mainly to enjoy lounging around the house. On the trip i recently went on, I used it with the wifi at the spot, and it worked great. Had minor lag issues at some points in the hotel, but all and all, it was a great experience.

The Sony PlayStation portal offers an immersive gaming experience on a small device. The screen is crisp and clear. Battery life is good. Just a pity it does need WiFi or an internet connection to be useful.

It is good for what it is. Unfortunately it’s not a standalone gaming product. I already knew this but still disappointed it’s not. I wish you could stream PlayStation Plus games on it.

Ive wanted to do handheld gaming. But im not the biggest fan of nintendo and a steam deck is a bit too much for me. This thing is kind of perfect for me. It has some draw backs but the positives are more. Glad i bought it.

I was not expecting to much after seeing some of the reviews. I have been pleasantly surprised how good this device is. I have gigabit internet, so my connection has been excellent, and I have really not seen any noticeable lag.

I'm having a great experience with Portal, recommended for parents whose kids watch your TV frequently, like me!

I need to mention this is a accessory for your ps5. It is not a stand alone product. Other than that the screen is crystal clear and the controls feel just like the ps5 controller.

I use this in my house or work and havent had any issues. I havent experienced FPS lag, the controller just feels right in your hands. Definitely recommend a strong wifi connection as it streams from the console.

Everyone hating on it because it remote play but i love it i can take it anywhere and play my ps5 games as i please. 60hz with a solid connection is good for me i play multiplayer games and story mode games such a great investment

As a father of a two year old this comes in clutch when my son wants to watch YouTube videos or movies on the big screen. I can sneak in a little gaming while he watches a movie he saw a thousand times :-)

I love this handheld player. I can now play my games while I am anywhere in the house if outside on the patio. It was easy to connect to my playstation and works just like my controller.

One of the best purchases of the year I’m so glad that Sony updated it so ur able to use asling as u have WiFi connection

Works great can use it anytime anywhere. My kids absolutely love it not having to use the TV and able to use this with headphones makes it even better. No lag or anything.

You really need to have a good and stable internet connection. The experience was not what I expected and was not satisfied with the Portal. Will wait till Sony makes a portable console that doesn’t need a internet connection.
