You really need to have a good and stable internet connection. The experience was not what I expected and was not satisfied with the Portal. Will wait till Sony makes a portable console that doesn’t need a internet connection.

This product is a great ADDITION to the PS5. Item is not Bluetooth capable, can only use PS product (headset) with device. Someone else cannot play your Ps5 while this device is in use.

Works great, looks great i love it. Games look amazing, psp feels good in your hands. Make sure you ger your self a carring case. Oled model with different color controler would of been amazing

Great PS5 accessory, allows me to relax on the couch and game without taking away the livingroom TV from my wife. Well built and a good deal if you can buy it at MSRP.

The controller feels nice in my hand and It’s good for what it is intended for but the connectivity to the Internet compared to on my computer for remote play is not as good

I wasnt sure about this device given the price and need for high speed internet. So far it has been working pretty well with only small bits of lag. I enjoy jt. Good luck finding one…

So i had already bought hubby his Christmas presents which was the Crazy 8’s in both coloways because he is a sneaker head. So i though ok cool im done presents are wrapped im good. Well no, all i keep hearing about was this PlayStation portal thing and how hard it was to get and how much he wanted it. He told me this on December 20th people!!!! It was sold out everywhere!!!! Omg i about had a heart attack. This thing was like a unicorn only heard about in myths and folklore lol and by some miracle on the 21st i was able to score one online on the Bestbuy app. He has not stopped raving about how lucky he is and how cool it is. Its really nice to see him so excited about a present.

The portal is awesome to be able to use around the house when I don’t have direct access to my PS5, or if a loved one needs to use the TV my PS5 is connected through.

I have been trying to get this since it released. I was finally able to get ine and have been enjoying it ever since. Its a great device to remote play on your ps5.

Very useful and fun to use. Works great, well worth the purchase if you have a PlayStation. Some issues do arise with using it long distances but overall great product.

Here’s the brutal truth about this device: The battery life is pathetic, barely lasting 2 hours on mid to low settings. Connecting to the PS5 is a slow and tedious process, taking at least a minute even with top-tier Wi-Fi 6E on a fiber network. Connecting via home network or mobile is excruciatingly slow. The screen looks decent, but it's just LED at 1080p 60Hz, not OLED as it might appear. This device devours data, consuming about 10 gigs in just 2 hours. There’s no way to lower the resolution to save mobile data when using a hotspot. Completely impractical. It comes with ONLY a Type-C to Type-C cable. Almost no one has a Type-C power brick, so now I have to spend even more money on additional cables just to use the device after paying over $200 plus tax. It’s bulky and not a lightweight handheld by any means. Ergonomically, it’s a nightmare. You have to constantly adjust your grip to use the triggers. All standard controller functions work the same as on the PS5, including vibration and adaptive triggers. In summary, this device is a major disappointment. It’s essentially a paperweight unless you have a PS5 and a robust internet connection. For $200, I expected far better. The inclusion of only a Type-C to Type-C cable is infuriating. Unless you have money to waste, don’t bother with this product.

Love portal, very user friendly and great for on the go gaming! I know its a newer system, so i know there can only be improvements from here. But so far its pretty awesome
