The PS portal remote works well when you have it connected to great WI FI, I was unable to connect it to my T-Mobile hot spot so I really didn’t get to enjoy it like I had hoped. Overall if you have a portable WI FI device you will enjoy it.

It looks great. However, this thing will not hold a wifi connection. I have no issues with wifi connectivity on PS5, TV, PC, etc. It's been unusable for me because it's constantly losing connection. Hoping Sony can do some kind of fix via firmware. I've had 5 seconds of gameplay, literally. If they are able to fix the wifi connectivity this is easily 5 starts and, in my opinion, great value for the price. Hardware wise it feels great. Screen looks great, although OLED would have looked a lot better.

This device is everything wanted with the abilty to play your PS5 anywhere in the house with all the features of the dualsense. No slow down or lag. This was worth the purchase.

Works as described! only con is that you need to have excellent internet if you’re planning on using the portal remotely if not you’ll be struggling to stay connected

1 player games without having to play against someone online work amazingly! It was the thing I didn’t know I needed. Graphics are great and the big screen is very helpful. You do need a fast wifi connection for it to be succesful.

Wasn’t exactly what I was expecting when I purchased it but it’s great for traveling or when I’m not at home around my PlayStation 5

Overall it has been a great little system. Good graphics and nice size screen. Just wish we could download games to it and play it while being away from the Ps5 system.

Love it!! I bring this everywhere I go, like a mini PlayStation! Only issue is you need good wifi for it to work.

Honestly I was expecting better. For $200 it’s not too bad however we are in 2025 and this much lag isn’t worth it to me. Remote play works when it wants to and the streaming is fine but it’s $140 a year for some mid selection

Easy on the go gaming very convenient. Allows you to switch from type ps5 to the portal during gaming.

If you want to play online it’s not so great. It has a 1-2 second delay. Ok if your playing offline.

When it works it works great but when it doesn't it quickly becomes frustrating, but i have had more fun and played more games than before and the frustration is few and far between

This is a great product and does exactly what it says it’ll do! I have Fiber internet along with mesh network at my house; works flawless. If yours does not work, you’re the problem

He likes it .. i get my TV back … Win Win .. now he wants a 4gb “card” for inside PS5 .. apparently you can’t play “cloud “ games though the PS5 .. u must download the full game “shrug” - i have no idea …

If your wifi is not perfect GTA 5 looks and sounds terrible. It can work better if you have wired internet for the ps5 and wifi for the device.

Unit feels like you have a PS5 remote on hand. Love the screen and the resolution is perfect. Recommend to any PS5 lover. The only downside is the lack of Bluetooth.

I’m actually enjoying my PS portal more than I expected I would. I’m enjoying it very much purchase. I would recommend this to somebody who likes to multitask.
