I got this for travelling. The connection time varies depending on the network you have access to, but once it connects, you’re golden! The games available on the cloud for download and play are great as well. However I do wish they’d have more sports titles.

For fun on the go... nothing beats my portal. I love the fact that i can play everything on my playstation while i am away.

Bought the PS Portable and its great to use when i dont want to play with the console directly. Been playing as i lay in bed it's great.

Family loves it! A bit tricky at first to switch accounts, but after that ... it's great.

I love it. Perfect size and the controllers fit so well in my hand.

I preordered (switched to shipping after in store pickup debacle) and have loved it since day 1. This product has a target audience in mind and I fit that bill. My console is in the family room and not always accessible to me. The Portal allows me to jump in to any game while my kids or wife are using the main tv. That’s it. That’s what this does. I can play when I want to play. The screen is crisp and looks great for an LCD screen. Single player games run extremely well with practically no input lag. If you play competitive FPS, there is a slight delay that may not yield the best experience. Initial setup was a breeze though I did get some connection issues when connecting to 2.4ghz. A little tinkering with my network settings and those issues were gone. Note, if you have multiple connected devices, it’s highly recommended to set up QoS or move low priority devices off the 5ghz band. I have used it outside of my house and it works just as well as if I were home. I have had multiple people connect to their consoles on my Portal and it’s just like signing in to the app and they were off to the races.

Super great and easy I even got a small discount when I shopped on there open box section.

With the new update it's great for streaming your games from your PS5 to your portal just make sure to hard wire your PS5 to your modem

It’s awesome, but renders weird and it’s lame that it has to be on your WiFi using your ps5.

Bought as a gift for my hubby. He works on the go and has a ton of down time great for him to take on the go. Updates make it more worth it as well.

This is the perfect addition! There’s minimal lag and great screen quality!

The first one had a problem connecting to my ps5 but the second connected quickly and effortlessly it’s a fun mobile system that’s great when you want to play on the go or just some thing to play quickly

While the handgeld has some comfortable controls and came in at a steal during Black Friday, the portal has issues baked into its design that diminish its potential value. The handheld is streaming only as opposed to being able to download your library onto it directly. Not only that but the analog sticks can be fragile, a disapointing fact when considering the cost of the handheld when bought at its MSRP.

Great item would suggest anyone to get one and you would definitely enjoy it.

PlayStation Portal is an awesome device if you are in the target demographic. I use this when the TV that my PS5 is hooked up to is being taken by my wife of child. You could use a dual sense and an iPad or pc, but to me it’s way better using the handheld. The one thing I dislike is the lack of headphone support for wireless headphones

I decided to take a flyer on this device after researching the capabilities. It has performed very well. Great supplement to the PS5.
