This a great handheld device , changing your resolution to 1080p on your PS5 is recomended when streaming , the only issue i had was that when ever i tried to conect to a wifi in a hotel room , if the hotel has a webpage where you have to sign in before using the wifi the portal will not let you connect at all it doesn't have website support

I bought this device for my job for Christmas. Not really expecting a lot from me and was totally blown away. He plays like the game, my daughter ball games online for her to play and you can play from the games that you have bought. It took a while for it to load to get on the Wi-Fi and wants to get on the Wi-Fi. It was fine we used our hotspot to play and hang out issues. I do think it has room for improvement blurb for what it was worth about I will recommend to buy

5 Stars - a Must have if you're a parent with a newborn and can't play at your ps5 then get the Portal! Got friends and family that always hog the tv forcing you to wait until the kids go to bed? Play now with the Portal!
By all means playing on your PS5 is your best option, but that's why the Portal is great! - it's an option. I will be using it a TON as soon as my 2nd baby boy arrives in 2 weeks.

It’s what you expect, a portable screen of your playstation’s display when it’s turned on. You must have great internet connection. Ultimately, It doesnt beat the PSP experience.

I bought this for my girlfriend when she comes over to visit me, and she isn't left bored while I play my Xbox. so far, she says it's the best gift she has ever gotten from someone.

In despite of all tech reviewers, this is a surprisingly good idea from Sony. By capturing the basic need of anyone who owns a PS5 and can barely play on it because you as an owner insists to show it off in the living room. Well, problem solved! It feels like a tied sale, but what the heck? I can now play my PS5 with a fair quality and great ergonomics from the comfort of my toilet. A pity it can’t connect to PS4

It is fun to use my only problem with it is when I connect it to my Play station the graphics sometimes get worse so you have to disconnect it and then re connect it but other than that it’s good

After 25 minutes of updates I was able to connect to my PS5 that is back home in Ecuador. Being able to play Rivals on EAFC 24 and continue my journey on Hogwarts Legacy while im visiting my brother that lives in the US is just amazing. Sometimes connection wasn't the best but it was until I got someone to connect an internet cable from my PS5 to the router. The portal is great! I just wish there where more settings and Bluetooth available on it.

The playstation portal came in a timely manner and works as advertised. Its a great at home or on the road to be able to access my PS5 on a crisp handheld screen. Controller works great as well although vibration can be a bit much. My biggest issue is that there is no way to connect to wifi with a splash page. The best alternative is to host the wifi on an android phone hotspot and connect the portal to that.

Wasnt too sure about it but after playing it for 2 weeks now my playstation gets more play from this portal than ever pro tip plug the ethernet to your ps5 game changer

This is an excellent product with a fantastic screen and really great ergonomics. The unit hooked up to my PlayStation 5 the first time and I've had no problem playing it remotely from my bedroom or the couch. I really hope this is a first step to a true PlayStation portable like the PSP or Vita. Sony is really missing an opportunity into carving out a really good niche in the portable space.

I got this for my
bf for xmas and he loved it. You don’t need a ps5 to use it it has a monthly subscription for $18. It’s very good quality everything works fine and we love it glad i made this purchase.

I absolutely love the PlayStation Portal. Some people wonder who this device is for—the answer is people with families and only a single TV. If you have decent WiFi and a wired PS5, this is an amazing way to stream games in the family room and let other family members use the TV for something else. The controllers feel awesome, and the screen is my favorite portable screen yet (much better than the Steam Deck or Switch).
