Overall, the Portal is great. It takes some tweaking of your PS5 for optimum running, which isn't ideal if you are traveling when you discover the connection is unstable. The cloud gaming access makes this a solid handheld option for PS5 gamers. The open box unit was definitely worth purchasing.

My daughter was looking for a portable tool for playing her game. Now, she can be in the living room and not stuck in her room playing.

With decent wifi it is an excellent experience. Its overpriced but definitely an awesome experience. I purchase not regretted .An upgrade from the backbone.

Nice but left me wanting more. Features that would make it perfect: Bluetooth, if it had its own games (I would pay extra for this feature), the ablitiy to watch movies/youtube, maybe standalone apps can be added in the future.

Quality product. Would recommend decent internet connection throughout home, or whenever you are located. Games run smooth, but of course become pixelated due to connection. Great design and product. *Only purchase if you are a PlayStation 5 owner*

It's a great product unfortunately even with my fiber optic Internet any slight loss in signal results in unplayable quality and lag. I think with cloud it would have better use

Wonderful extension to the PlayStation 5. If you have an internet connection with low latency this is a wonderful addition. It can only stream games although some games are unable to stream due to the mirroring function this operates on. However those were indie games from the PS market. Best investment for my spouse and myself. She needs glasses normally so the size of the screen allows her to play games at the comfort of her own eyes, however the weight of the system can begin to wear in your wrist if you support the handheld with your arms or unsupported.

I like the idea but the controlling on actual gaming is off and you must have a strong internet connection to play

Product was refurbished, works great and looks brand new, will consider buying refurbished from BestBuy again in the future.

Great product for someone who loved PS5. Would buy again

I have put probably a 100 hours into gaming on this so far and really enjoy it. The only complaint I have is, if you don't have decent internet it will not play well. Other than that, I have really enjoyed it and the black looks really good.

I thought about getting this for a very long time but didn't because of the price because its honestly just a glorified controller with a screen but I ironically enjoy using it more than being glued to the coach. I even upgraded my data plan just so I can also use this on the go.

As a father that constantly has to let my kids use my tv or follow them around the house to make sure they’re safe. This remote player is amazing, so addicting , I don’t even care to play on my tv anymore. I take this thing with me to work, family gatherings and even to ER visits

Bought one for my son to use around the house AKA in the restroom or sitting in the livingroom. His worked as intended. I decided to buy one for myself and take to work to mess with during downtime. I was worried about internet connection, lag and overall functionality of the device. I left my PS5 on rest mode got to work and at lunch linked the PSP to the internet and it only took a few seconds to connect. Now, the wifi at my work sucks but the games played flawlessly with no delays, lags, pixelization or disconnects. I played the downloaded ninja turtles collection from the monthly games for about 10 min and I played Star Wars Outlaws for about 20 min. No problems as of right now. Im guessing that for others that had trouble it was user error because i was ready to return mine if it didnt work as intended but it did work so i will keep this in my desk for when ive got downtime and or just need something to distract me. I will update if i have problems down the road.
