It works well on my network that has at least 30 smart home products connected to the Internet at all times. I have my PS5 plugged into Ethernet and have at&ts top internet plan which really only gets me about 170 - 200 mbps on WiFi but it still holds a connection well. The quality of it is really nice and I’ play on it for a few hours at a time while in my home office since my ps5 is in the living room.

I really love it a lot especially since I can play handheld and listen and watch football in the background. My only complaint is if you don’t have full bars on your Wi-Fi, like you go upstairs or to your garage, it gets a little laggy.

Works fairly well on fast wifi . Some issues connectively but when it works its beautifully. Screen is large and crisp . Controller is standard ps5 feel which is quality. Device is light enough for extended time playing away from the tv

This is not what I thought it would be. I was hoping it was a console that I can play offline but no you have to be online to play it. And also to your PS4 has to be on rest mode.

The PlayStation Portal honestly surprised me. I didn’t expect much, but it works really well for playing my PS5 around the house. The screen looks great, the controls feel just like the regular DualSense, and it’s super comfortable to use.
You do need a good Wi-Fi connection if the signal drops, you’ll notice it. But when the connection is solid, the gameplay feels smooth and responsive. It’s not a standalone console, but for relaxing in bed, on the couch, or anywhere at home without using the TV, it’s really convenient and does exactly what I needed.

Really cool and glad I copped one, especially now that I dont really need a PS+ account to use it, I can access all purchsed games in my library. Amazing and really dope handheld and perfext companion to the PS5.

I really like using the Portal. It’s great to use when I want to play, but can’t use the TV.
The only negative is, when I’m in a hotel room, I can’t always connect to wifi, since most hotel WiFis require an acknowledgement using an internet browser. The Portal doesn’t have a browser built into it.
This wasn’t a dealbreaker for me though.

Still learning how to use it. games are very limited but it changes every month. When you buy the $160 subscription you can use it on the PS5 and the PSP. Which is nice.

Love the design and comfort of the Sony Portal but it does disconnect quite often and get all pixel-y playing. Overall i do recommend it for when you and (place person(s) here) you share tour tv with so you can game and watxh at the same time.
