Really liked this product! I’m not gonna get into the techs and specs about it, but all I can say is that this little device is very versatile. There’s times where I just wanna chill in bed, or on the couch and don’t want to be facing a big screen the whole time. So with this device it gives me the ability to play it anywhere I’m connected to Wi-Fi. I had my doubts about it, but I mean instead of being on my phone in the toilet, I can be on my Portable lol

Having little to no time to myself and not being able to get to my man cave the Portal gives me a chance to game from time to time. I hardly notice any difference in graphics and the haptics are just as good as the PS5 controller. The only drawback is the reliance of WiFi, but I knew that going in. There are times when it is very laggy. Also, some spots in my house don’t have great WiFi connectivity. As long as you have a strong WiFi network. You shouldn’t have any problems

This device is beautiful and it feels wonderful in your hands, but the screen is outdated and the colors feel washed out. It can stream games, but it requires a PS Premium membership which is an additional $17.99/month on top of the price of the device. Remote play is an option if you have a PS5, but you pretty much have to be at home to play it. I had issues connecting this device to my iPhone's wifi hotspot, but apparently, that is an issue with T-Mobile, and not with Sony. I just couldn't justify the price for the value I was getting with this device.

It was A open box but in excellent condition being playing it pretty much every day works well with my setup.

The system is very easy to use as well as comfortable to play, it is a very good device as an extra for the PS5 console

I love the screen size and controller design. But if it could ve used to stream from video streaming apps it would be amazing. Also add bluetooth so we can use the headphones of our choice. If this also had OLED and a brighter display, i would pay an extra $50 for it.

Build quality is fantastic, and the screen is gorgeous. The connectivity to the console is excellent with very rare hiccups, and I’m using a 1gb WiFi FiOs connection for reference. I only play single player games and this device is perfect for games like Ultros, Balatros, FF7 Remake, Ratchet and Clank, and Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection. I don’t play shooters on this because I prefer a larger screen for that, but im sure others would enjoy it. If you’ve been on the fence, do yourself a favor and get one now that they’re back in stock regularly.

Honestly this is exactly what I wanted. Sometimes this WiFi does get choppy when you first connect to your system but the gameplay is smooth the vast majority of the time

Despite the screen looking fantastic and the controls feeling on-par with that of the PS5, I was unfortunately a little underwhelmed with the functionality of the device. I bought the device so that I could play my PS5 games in bed while my wife was using the TV, but I come to find out that the connection between the Portal and my PS5 couldn't even reach as far as my bedroom without significant latency issues. Furthermore, you could turn on your PS5 remotely using the device, but you can't turn it back off, which means if you don't want your PS5 running all night, you have to get up and turn it off manually. For what I was looking for in a portable Playstation device, this wasn't quite it.

Very solid device if you have a good internet connection, but the downside is having to use PS premium in order to access it.

Love it. Works great for when the main tv room is being used and have gotten mileage out of it during trips. Would recommend!

Ok for those who have little kids but want to play resident evil during the day and not at ungodly hours.

Easy connectivity and use. The portal does what it sets out to do, allows me to play my PS5 games remotely, much easier than on other devices.

I read a lot of mixed reviews about not being able to stream your games without being on your home network…. I have been able to stream my games from anywhere with WiFi
