After spending real time with the PlayStation Portal, I can confidently say this device fills a very specific niche — and if you fall into it, it’s fantastic. If you don’t, it might feel limited.

I love my ps portal…………i wasn’t expecting to get a ps portal at this time due the fact its in high demand i really appreciate this…

It is very high quality and cheap for what it has. you can play it from around the world and on the road. if it is laggy it means you need a stronger connection. So overall i would recommend buying this product.

When using remote play, single player games work fantastic. No input lag or delays even when playing games several hundred miles from my ps5 as long as you have a fairly decent internet connection. There is input lag when playing online games, but that is to be expected. Cloud streaming is a great deal, especially since you don’t actually need a ps5 for that!

I love this thing i just wish it did more or was a standalone device however i am enjoying ff tactics on it right now but it mostly stays tucked away however for the price you paid it does what it says and does it well and its super comfortable to hold

Best handheld for in the house gaming to being away on vacation and wanting to play your ps5. Dont wanna tie up the t.v ..... Want a more personal ps5 experience... Do you love handheld gaming.... This might be the peak example of a frivolous accessory and I’d say it’s not worth trying one of these without a really strong internet connection to your PS5 (truly, either wire it with an Ethernet cord or have a router right next to it). The lack of a dedicated touchpad also takes a little getting used to (you just tap the screen to pull up one.) That all said, the screen is like stunning sometimes how good it looks. I also think the DualShock 5 is maybe the best controller in gaming so even though the actual design of this is wacky it feels great to play.

I was skeptical about "Remote Play" devices, but the Portal has exceeded my expectations. With my PS5 hardwired to my router, I get almost zero latency while playing in other rooms. The 1080p resolution looks incredibly crisp on an 8-inch display honestly, it looks better than some of my older monitors.

Portable play no dislikes wish tge latency could be fixed

Bought it last year and didn’t really use it much. But knew they would release an update to allow you to stream games without having the console on. So now I play it a lot more as a pick up and play when I have free time around the house. Works great with good WiFi. When the wifi isn’t great then it tends to lag or disconnect

Great device works better than I expected definitely recommend for mobile ps5 or if you need to share the TV with others.

Really great for gaming if you have a fmaily and they need the tv for somthing else, play your PS games while you kids watch there shows. Just be mindful of how far away you are from the Playstation itself and the wifi modem or get somthing to boost or a wifi repeater.

Cool product. Feels premium. Would be better if it was able to download games or use cartridges. Takes a little getting used to since some buttons from the controller use the touch screen instead. Great if you have a PSN membership and strong internet connection. While I have a membership, my internet set up does not seem to be strong enough for a stable connection, so I did not keep this item, however I hear it’s great for those who do

I love my ps5 portal honestly this is the best purchase I made this year I can finally play my ps5 from work.

The portal has been an awesome accessory device for me. I understand that not everyone is going to have the same experience due to different networking setups, but for mine, it has worked flawlessly. It's made me play my PlayStation way more helped me get even more value out of it

Great good with cloud play now also good for remote play

I've been usuing the playstation portal now for a coupld of weeks and it is just amazing. It fits my needs since i have children and they live taking up the tv in the living room. Also the process of picking it up at best buy was fast and easy. I don't get any lag and it boots up fast. Also the battery feels like it last forever.

Best purchase in a while. So happy with how good it works and the big screen.

I really liked the PlayStation portal since I don't have a TV in my room and the PlayStation is always in the living room so the purchase suited me a lot since you can play in my room while my parents are watching a movie without a doubt I don't regret it although I still think it's a little expensive.
