After update definitely worth it. Just a little delayed easy to adjust to

We got this for our son for his birthday and he loves it.

Great product. If you have PS5 and play a lot of single player games or quick matches to play without TV. This makes my TV free and still game while watching mvovies on TV.

PlayStation portal is Great! It really is the definition of gaming on the go!

But if you’ve done your research you can come to understand the value it has and from its overall functionality. Unfortunately, this device is not for everyone. As for me i love it, and appreciate it, and have value in owning one. While i love traditional gaming on a console, I also love gaming on handhelds . This device gives me the best of both worlds. Ive had fun playing Ghost of Tsushima, Kingdom Hearts FM, God of War 3; from in bed at night, my kitchen, and boldly enough from my bathroom. Its network dependant, and ive had a few issues due to their being excessive rain in my area but nothing that impedes me from playing and enjoying my games. The lag from my experience has been minimal and while i wont say its been near perfect. My experience has been highly positive. This has been a great investment for me. I’d encourage others to give it a chance. Just by doing your research and understanding it, you know if its truely for you or not.

This is a great addition for any ps5 owner. Its great to play while my wife is watching TV

Wasn’t sure at first about purchasing it but it was better than I expected.

I love my Playstation portal, it’s nice to be able to bring it on the road, it super easy to use my 6year old daughter is able to use it!

I really like using the Portal. It’s great to use when I want to play, but can’t use the TV. The only negative is, when I’m in a hotel room, I can’t always connect to wifi, since most hotel WiFis require an acknowledgement using an internet browser. The Portal doesn’t have a browser built into it. This wasn’t a dealbreaker for me though.

Good for getting a quick game in whether at the airport or in a room away from your main console

My only qualm with this device is it should work smoothly right out of the box without having to go through tons of tweaks. The initial impression while setting up this device was really bad. Couldn't get the timezone correctly even though connected to wifi+internet. Had to manually adjust the time and date to get through. Then there were some additional tweaks needed to actually get it connected to PS5. Then comes the lag part, for which needed to bit of googling to figure all the adjustments to get rid of lags and then finally you could get to the good part. Excellent ergonomics, beautiful screen. Gameplay is enjoyable. There is still a bit of lag particularly when you need swift and precise movements. I am hoping that such things would be fixed in the future versions of the device updates. I would definitely recommend if you have PS5 and not able to get hold of the TV screen for whatever reasons.

Product is good if somebody is using the tv, graphics are great. A few flaws, it lags quite a bit, especially if your far from the ps5 console. Which unfortunately also means you cant save games to it to play while on the go. Other than that, its a decent device to use for the price

I love it. It gives me a chance to play games on the go (depending on the wifi) but it's a really good device. If you have the higher tier of Playstation Plus it will be beneficial for you as well

Item is good and durable but connection is not great

It great when the connection actually works. I have mixed feelings. When its working I can spend hours playing happily but when the connection is an issue despite the internet being high speed, the PS5 being connected wired, the hdmi cable unplugged and me less than a couple feet of the PS5 thats...pretty infuriating. Overall I love it but they need to work on the connectivity on this device. Hopefully, if there is a 2nd one, they have fixed that issue.

The Portal is a must have in 2025! The newest update makes streaming easier than ever!

I am happy wiht my purchase and look forward to using it more.
