This has veen great for days im feeling sick and dont want to get out of bed or just want to lay in a specific spot and play. Its also great if youre in one of those situations where your ps5 is in a family room and the tv is being used. The LCD screen is really bright and great quality. Sound is amazing. There are alot of people speaking negative about the product, but considering its sold out and hard to find in some places, i think that speaks for itself.

Great stream to handheld device, screen quality is good and no issues playing anywhere around home.

buying this online was very quick, i made order at 8am and picked up at 10am.. that was fast to me. as for the system, its a add touch to the PS5 community to be able to play on the GO. make sure you grab a case and screen protector too.

I love the feel of this device . The ergonomic is great to me . Especially when I compare it to the steam deck and the rog ally . When you have a good connection it works great. Can't say it's perfect but ,the quality of the screen and size of the screen is better than using my phone for gaming . It's a great accessory to go with the PS5 . I am able to play it outside my house without issues, granted I have to have good solid wifi connection .

I’ve been hesitant to get this device after looking at initial reviews, but overtime I had seen positivity go up and I finally jumped on it. I’ve had it now for two weeks and I can say that this is a purchase well-made it’s exactly how I envisioned it would be. It’s not perfect, but it definitely does what I need it to do

The screen is amazing. Being able to play my PS5 games while traveling or when im laying in bed while it is in a different room is amazing. It is surprising comfortable in the hands.

Ever sifne the update withh cloud gaming it has been so smooth. No ps5 needed ajd they added games every week when i travel I can take my portal with me. Even though its in beta one day we can play our games or maybe download them but no lag or nothing when I play

Before I purchased, I had read a lot of reviews and many were from people like me. I’m a parent of two young kids, so being able to sit in front of a TV with my system set up just isn’t in the cards right now, so I went ahead and got this. I do like it but there’s definitely room for improvement. I use a wired in ps5 but some games are tough to play due to lag input. It’s not my WiFi, my WiFi is consistently strong. Sometimes the screen glitches and it’s weird. Some games play perfectly. Oddly some online games play better than offline games. Battlefield plays perfectly. Ghosts of Tsushima plays great. MLB is hard, there’s definite lag between when you hit the button to when the action is performed. Madden mostly plays great. NHL is a mess. I don’t think it can handle that fast constant action right now. I hope it’s something they can patch. I have headphones that work but it seems like they only connect bc I have the dongle in the ps5. There’s somehow no Bluetooth on this thing which in 2024 seems wild. Battery life is pretty good. I’d estimate 4-6 hours per charge which is pretty good IMO. Feels like you’re holding a real controller. Gets a little heavy if you’re laying down holding it but nothing crazy. Overall a cool product that I hope continues to improve. Oh, one more thing, it’s sort of loud. You can really hear it working if that makes sense. Lots of clicks and buzzing at times. Is that normal?

My grandson loved the game he got really exited when i got home with it. He plays the game after he gets from school but first he needs to finish he's homework and then he can play the game for only 2 hr.And he is very happy after he plays the game connected to the PS5. And i'm happy also to se my grandson happy as well. I thank Best Buy for my grandson happiness. Tks. Robert Sanchez

Well built, premium quality, portable , crisp graphics, looking forward to when PS corp. to expand the streaming library

I was very hesitant to get the PlayStation Portal. With having 3 kids I get no time to game. So I bought this and gave it a shot (had two weeks to return it if I don’t like it). Well for me this has been amazing, I can now play anytime and I have finished two games since buying it. Highly recommend for Dads out there. It’s ok for call of duty but it’s better for single player games.

Needs real strong internet speed or direct connection or it lags and freezes

Was looking for gift for my son and thought this would be great for traveling. Hook up to hotspot and plays games from the house. Can be a little glitchy but nothing compared to dial up days.
