I was originally skeptical about it, because i had already tried the remote play features with my phone and tablet, and thought it was decent enough but the delay and lag was annoying. With this thing, as long as you have good internet and wifi, it actually does way better than i imagined it would. 200 bucks for a big screen and actual playstation controller grips, i will promote this thing anyday. I only wish i could upload a video to show the lack of delay and how responsive it is.

Definitely worth it! I was skeptical because I seen reviews talking about WiFi issues…I have decent internet at home. 800mbps and my ps5 is connected via WiFi, when I’m at work I use my phone (T-mobile service) as a hot spot and its connects with no issues sometimes it may disconnect but I work inside a office that has bad signal anyway I can still Play GTA online and nba 2k24 (NBA a little laggy when shooting) but I have no complaints!! Definitely worth it! Also if your family man this is perfect! Can disappear from the wife and be in the basement or in the yard playing the game when she get to nagging lol.

The device is a nice alternative to remote play for anyone that travels a lot or that have others in the house that might need to have the tv, although there are some issues connecting to hotel wi-fi, but with the recent update some of the issues should get fixed. It works really well with my cell phone hot spot on 5g network with some stuttering it feels comfortable on your hands. Definitely a nice accessory for gaming on the go if wi-fi is available and reliable.

This thing rocks,as long as you have internet where you are you can play your favorite games. Of course faster internet the smoother the experience. I have noticed minor skipping seldomly which will no doubt be fixed with a patch im sure. Overall though games feel more emersive than ever and often preform flawlessly. Picture quality and haptics are top notch as well as the triggers its like taking your controller with you on the go even has the blue light up the sides- a nice asthenic. If you can get your hands on one do it ignore the people that say it sucks they clearly dont see its true purpose

It’s convenient for us, my wife watches tv and I’m able to play my games. Even bring it and play on the go (as long as you have a strong enough wi-fi and the ps5 is not powered down.

I can,never enjoy my games it keeps disconnecting and laggin even with strong wifi signal.

Hear me out. The thought behind this is awesome but there are lot of people who complain about this not working and some of them are valid. One of the things that you need to understand is that this will deliver high quality graphics and for that you need a good connection. You also need to make sure that your PS5 and portal are both connected to a 5ghz network because its now the standard. If your router doesnt have 5ghz then get one because 2ghz is outdated.

Takes some time to set up and to get used to controls (switching from being connected to ps5 and cloud streaming, and the menu options in game when cloud streaming) but overall I’m happy with my purchase. Wish it would allow connecting to media apps as well.

I love this thing. I think its priced great for the quality. I do have some connectivity issues occasionally, but I think I need to buy a WiFi extendor for my basement as the PS5 is pretty far from our router. All in all it has worked great.. I probably have more screen time on this thing than my actual PS5 that's hooked up on the big screen downstairs.. the portability and convenience makes it way easier for me to actually chill and play at the end of the night.

System works great. Experiencing no connection issues. Now I'm able to play my PS5 anywhere in my home or on the go. Please note you have to have a dependable Wi-Fi network and a ps5 to connect to in order to play. I give it four stars because you are not able to connect any Bluetooth headset. You have to buy a special PlayStation link headset for that. However, it does have headphones jack for corded headset. All in all, I am glad PlayStation made this accessory.

Awesome handheld device! It’s a convenient way to play my ps5 away from where it’s placed as long as there’s a WiFi connection. Comes in handy when I want to hop on while laying in bed or if the tv is already in use. Only downside is the need for a WiFi connection to work but other than that it definitely comes in clutch. Highly recommend

It’s an amazing device to have if you like to game on the go, feels great in my hands, and it performs great on my iPhone 16’s hotspot, I bought a travel router that connects to my phones internet to go along with it, haven’t had any problems playing call of duty multiplayer

Magnificent portable console, it helps a lot when someone else is using your television and you want to play, and the best thing is that you can play anywhere you are.

I've been using this for the past couple of days now and it's honestly great to use around the house. I have my PS5 hardwired in our office, but sometimes I want to continue playing my game on the couch or even in bed. There is a SLIGHT delay, but the graphics and everything is amazing. You have to get used to the delay for games like COD, NBA 2K, and FC24. Overall really great product. Can't wait to use it while traveling!

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the Portal at first, when I realized that this device was just for remote play and not one for streaming games or the like. But I quickly found myself really enjoying using it. The screen is awesome and great quality and the controls work wonderfully. I’ve been playing my PS5 so much more thanks to the Portal. That being said, you really do need to make sure you have access to great wi-fi or it won’t work at all. So, no playing on hotel wi-fi or at the coffeeshop, unfortunately.

Was skeptical about buying the PlayStation portal because all the reviews I saw online , I decided to give it a try & it surprised me on how well it performs , The PlayStation Portal Works Really Well for online games! I recommend having a stable internet connection at home , to prevent any lagging and have a smooth gaming experience.

Hi speed Internet needed for best experience and I wish the picture quality was better for fast paced games even and for the best experience you MUST set your PS5 to 1080p and performance mode but you can only do that on console not the device it self but for what it is it works good enough to play away from your console IF you have good Internet.
