The system itself worked great and was mostly intuitive to set up and connect to the PS5, but I wouldn’t recommend unless your PS5 console is directly connected to your internet router. The Portal couldn’t maintain a high-speed connection on my WiFi and I eventually had to return it since I couldn’t play it around the house, defeating the purpose.

Excellent screen . Works well with wifi 6 router. No glitches or drops in my condo. Really a pleasure to hold the games instead of always off the TV across the room. Not yet tried remotely, but I've used remote play on android and know what to expect (it's great when it works :)

It’s awesome. When it connects. Highly suggest hard wiring your PS5 to the internet. If you have an average WiFi connection speed where you are using the portal it probably won’t connect. Most hotels do not have a fast enough WiFi for me to enjoy while traveling. The beta of remote play from library is cool. But games are limited. Hopefully this expands and will make it more useable.

It works flawlessly to remote play my cosole when visiting my parents for the holidays, way easier than lugging my console over when staying for a long weekend! No input lag or noticible difference compared to playing on my tv at home. It did take some time to get used to the wider feel of the controls but it is as comfortable as a regular controler.

Great purchase overall! I love that I can play Fortnite, Call of Duty and Read Dead Redemption 2 away from home. Only issue I have is that you need a reliable internet connection if not, it won’t connect.

I have been loving this device. It frees up the living room tv, so my wife can watch her shown while I can finish exploring a dungeon in Dragon’s Dogma 2 or finish a mission on Helldivers. Some games like the next gen Fallout 4 update have issues but I’ve had great results with most games.

My son got this for his birthday and he loves it. The color and graphics are very clear.

Works great, I waited on this purchase because I was hoping for a little more Versatility, and with the newest update this streams games as well as remote play.

Great device to have for Playstation enthusiasts on the go. The recent updates have made this product a must have. You can play your games while you're across the country.

Its nice if you have good enough wifi to stream the games... i have xfinity 1g an still stutters on single player games. Online games wouldnt bother.

I purchased the PS Portal because I specifically wanted a lightweight remoteplay device for my PS5 with a physical mute button. I have an 3 Eero 6E mesh routers and i still have problems with smooth playback so im guessing this device needs a very optimal setup to be nearly lag free. Results may vary, but it still works well enough.

I think it’s a great purchase works good, battery life is wonderful, and you can bring it with you anywhere. The only downside i would say is that you need a good Wifi connection to play anything but other than that I would highly recommend.

If you don’t have good WiFi coverage this item is a waste of $. Other than that I enjoy playing in other rooms of my house without being stuck to one room. The WiFi is the key to successful game play it will lag on sports games and timing it key with those games.

There is nothing more conducive to being a blue collared, single parent, gamer than having the convenience of laying in bed, sitting on the porch or soaking in the tub even. Than being able to do all that while playing PS5!! Thank you Best Buy.

Broke within 4 hours of gameplay the right thumbstick wont move up or down and i have great wifi and this crap still lags on games like call of duty tge system is only good for games like spiderman

I do like this for my pre-teen because it travels with him around the house. PS5 Mobile

Fantastic! Now I can play my games, while I ignore my wife as she watches her Drama shows and Documentaries. Just make sure you connect your PS5 via Ethernet to avoid a headache of figuring out why you keep disconnecting.

Almost zero delay on this when playing! Awesome! Would recommend to any friends and family!
