This thing is great as long as you have good wifi, yes you can use your phone for remote play but who wants to use your phone when you have a portable ps5

Love this Playstation Portal Remote play my PS5 is in the basement i am on second floor no problems connecting to the system laying in bed having a ball.

Love it, it’s amazing and the quality of the screen if amazing as well, like having my playstion 5 I can play anywhere around the house.

Slight input lag that is perfect for casual games. This is not a device for competitive play. I currently can’t play Alan Wake 2 due to touch input control issues. The “brightness” settings for the light bars and mute button are “on” or “off”. Hardware is great quality; software needs more time in the oven.

Unfortunately you can’t play the game with the portal outside it has to be the same network as your PS5 and ps5 has to turn on

You need to have a very strong Wi-Fi connection in order to be able to actually experience the console for what it is. It’s a great concept and addition to the experience of PlayStation five especially if you don’t have a free TV to play on. My personal experience is that the console continues to drop connection to the Ps5. This issue could be due to the Wi-Fi and how many devices may be connected at that time but being kicked out of your game is never good for any gamer. Once again the concept idea and design are all great and comfortable for a real gamer. But if your Wi-Fi experience is not the best, possibly on Wi-Fi six, then you will have a hard time with this.

Good product, could/should be better. No volume and can’t connect to my AirPods. Has to run on WiFi. Too reliable on my PS5. Love the screen, fun to play on but don’t think I’ll be keeping it.

Looks good works well when i have to surender my tv to my children but i want to play..

Did not work for me. I have great high speed Wi-Fi and no matter what I did it wouldn’t work. Know others have had success but not me.

The portal is a nice size and has comfortable game play. My only issues are that the connection outside of the home network is terrible and the fact that it must link to 1 PS5 console. I was initially intrigued by the "portable" concept to play anywhere but we are in fact still limited. Such a shame.

Great device. Proper home network setup and tweaking a must to get the best of the device.

Big screen and controls that are identical to the PS5 controller make this a great alternative if you can’t use your TV its connected to.

This is great, decent battery but better have a good wifi connection. I can play on the couch when the kids take over the TV.

With many reviews floating around i was very skeptical on getting it but for me it was a must, i do not regret it at all. I love it perfect for what i need.
