Works great even on shoddy mobile hot spot. Obviously the better your internet connection the better it will work. I just wish it could turn on your PS5 remotely. The PS5 must be logged into for it to connect.

Even with excellent, fast, stable Wi-Fi, you should be aware that constant stuttering, lag and disconnects are a likely prospect. People are resorting to disconnecting cables on their PS5 and changing settings (that should not need yo be changed) just to get it to work. Even after two software updates, the problems persist. Sony should have spent more time on perfecting the software/hardware before reasoning this to the public. Just know that YMMV.

Im happy i got it, feel good on yohr hands this system for me i be work all day so ill got strong wifi at my job so im happy with that but aye its not for everybody but i kkow its for ppl that work a lot or dont have time to set around play with their console

Try remote play on your phone first, if you don't mind the terrible input lag and a terrible experience at the same time the screen can't keep up and looks like garbage. The device itself is well built but Sony came up way short with the quality I look for when gaming I don't recommend this product I returned it the next day.

The playstation portal has been a fantastic addition to my gaming set up. I can game a lot more frequently. Also, me and the watch more TV together and spend more time with each other. I haven't gamed on my TV in a long time.

I recently purchased the product and unless you have amazing wifi it runs great but if your on a budget on wifi providers it has input delays on the buttons and stick drift

Sony Play Station Portal was another Christmas gift given out as an upgrade to an extremely happy family member from Santa.

A bit laggy at times. However definitely decent for what it is.

I would rate this a 2 star but I only used the streaming through the ps5 I haven’t used it through the ps plus premium subscription but through the ps5 on the go it wasn’t good to much lag endless your playing like a single player game but it worked alright pretty okay inside the same house with wifi and my ps5 pro is wired in too

Just what i expected from ps portal. I can use it anywhere as long as my pd5 is on rest mode and the ps portal is connected to wifi. The screen resolution is also amazing.

I have no issues with my home network works surprisingly well. If your planning on using this for only fps games then i do not recommend purchasing this its very difficult aiming compared to using a regular controller

When someone is using the TV the Portal is very useful and has very good connection, and the gaming quality is far better than anything competing against it. A must have

I love this PlayStation portal but it dose not work without a PlayStation 5.

Looks and plays nice when the wifi is strong enough which isnt when trying to connect from the Portal to the PS5. Hope there will be an update to improve that.

This is a great accessory. I wouldnt recommend playing first person shooter games. I do have AT&T fiber optics, so no connection issues. Thats the big topic for this item. So make sure your internet is strong and you will enjoy.
