I tried the PlayStation Portable. My experience was it was too limiting. The screen is nice and the controller was comfortable in hand, but i was looking for something more independent from having to be on the same wifi and near the actual PS5. This is just an extension of your PlayStation. I need something more like the PS Vita.

i wanted this thing since it came out. When i finally got it i was very disappointed. No i didnt expect it to be like a psp but i expected the connection to wi-fi and latency to be better. The idea of the portal was great but they didn’t execute in my opinion

Im going to try to run my PS5 with an eithernet cable once it comes in the mail. But im not that happy with the dropped frames and stuttering. My router is 2years old and it has worked great for everything else.

Needs wifi in order to run, unless you have the best connection, games are choppy

This product wasn't for me. The way I have my entertainment center setup this project turns on my tv, surround sound and ps5. So did work for in bed playing. If it wasn't for my setup this item would be perfect.

I hate that you can’t take it on the road. I was hoping to that I could use this during road trips but it has to be connected to the same WiFi as my ps5 kinda pointless.

Trash. High speed internet and the connection is terrible

The screen was okay, I just did t like how I had to turn everything else off just so the WiFi would be strong enough to use it.

While the item works. It is NOT at all what the salesperson represented it to be. Does not work for what we were looking for and Salesperson sold something different.

Dont believe these reviews... i have over 1gb speeds bought a gaming router just for the portal and still have problems with it remotely connecting from away from home and when i am home i get a delay, sometimes doesnt want to wake ps5. Ps5 is wired, did all the recommended settings online youtube videos, still same results.... lame. Have better playing xbox remote play no delay or lag.

Bought this for traveling purposes, hard time connecting to internet and when I finally did, it wouldn’t connect to my PlayStation. Not what I expected from the product. I should have read and watched more reviews.

As much as I love the product it did come with scratches on the back, a very dirty screen, no charge cable, and a beat up box. Not exactly what you'd expect for open box-excellent

Worked flawlessly everyday for 2 months then the right joystick stopped working up and down. Seems to be a super common issue.

Choppy and laggy to the point of being unplayable. I have Xfinity home internet and it’s very fast. I regularly stream many games/media on many devices and it’s always great. This thing does not work. It can barely connect and when it either doesn’t register button pushes or registers them like a million times. I used to stream ps4 to the vita and it was wayyyy better than this. Yikes.

Connectivity sucks. I def won’t recommend and it’s not really remote.

Good quality but if you don’t have good internet it will not run that good or not at all.

Cosmetically its a good looking handheld device but even with a very good internet connection there a lot of time lapse or lagging in playing games

Comfortable but latency ridden. Sync and power up time is not too long but waiting gets annoying real fast. The delay makes playing some games unplayable. Also, you cannot stream games from the Sony subscription nor the Sony video library. These two shortcomings are big reasons why I chose to return this device.

Just not what i expected snd the latency makes the game unplayable and not enjoyable

Need PlayStation to play certain games. I don’t think it’s worth it.
