So far I like it. It even works when I tether it to my iPhone for an internet connection on-the-go. I wish it had Bluetooth because it limits how many accessories can be used with the device.

Perfect for playing games on my PS5 while my wife is watching tv. No issues with latency or image quality, just make sure you have your PS5 is hard-wired to your router instead of using WiFi is possible!

When you’re laying in your bed and don’t feel to get up and play - ps portal ps portal! All I got to say is this is perfect for those busy fathers that are on the go and when night time comes and the bed is calling….. you can put in a little bit of hustle on your favorite game before you shut eye. Idk that’s me. Anyways I am satisfied with this and couldn’t ask for better.

For me this was a good buy and very entertaining, it’s nice to jump on the game without holding up the tv and others can do their own thing. It’s got a superb screen and I have yet to notice any lag or under performance. It will be going with me on trips to enjoy gaming on the go and you won’t know if you like it until you get it. No harm in trying out as you might be surprised and it’s very slick with a great time on battery life.

I wanted something that would give me the freedom to play my Ps5 if I couldn’t be on the couch in the living room and this was the perfect solution, I was actually surprised how well it works having delved into cloud gaming and other options before.

As long as there's wifi, the gaming never ends! My husband and I each have a Playstation console. It's nice being able to play in separate rooms or right next to each other. Who ever is on "baby duty" to rock our kiddo to sleep, it's easy to take the portal with. At work and have some down time? Portal. It's a decently large screen with great graphics. Honestly, I can't believe it's only $200.

As someone who loves my Switch because of the ease of switching between playing on the TV and playing in bed (and also being a Dad that frequently shares the screen with 3 little girls), this device solved a lot of problems I had with my PS5. I can now allow the girls to watch or play their Switch on the TV while also playing the games I love. I also love the ability to being it to bed and play next to my wife while she plays Animal Crossing. There’s no better feeling.

I love this thing! If you have kids and a wife that tell you to turn the game off because no one wants to watch you play and you don’t want to isolate yourself in a cave. Then this is the solution you’ve been looking for. I play my PS5 games on the couch right next to them. Play online Fortnite or regular campaigns! I don’t feel any lag whatsoever. Additionally you can play it anywhere as long as you have a good wifi connection and your PS5 is in rest mode. 10/10 would buy again!!!

I was skeptical of this device at first but its seriously amazing. I have really great wifi at home but even then i run an ethernet cable to the back of my ps5 for a stronger connection and with my hotspot i can literally game on my ps5 through streaming from anywhere. Gameplay has been running flawlessly. I live in PA and tested it from New York on my hotspot. I am very happy with this purchase.

This unit works so well. Screen is so clear. Holding it feels great. Connecting is no issue. Its been running perfect and is so much fun. Finally Sony Remote play is where it should be.

I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy this device. I had some connection issues the first day on my old router. Upgraded to a mesh setup and its been flawless everywhere in my house. No noticeable lag at all. I mostly play single player games so if you play MP, YMMV. I mostly use this in bed before sleeping and when my wife is using the LGCX. It feels great to hold and the battery life is more than enough for my needs. Happy with my purchase.

I like it a lot but your PS5 needs to be connected to the internet via cable or you’ll have a hard time connecting to the console. The picture is great and the size is good for viewing and the grip is comfortable for both hands.

I like using this while watching/listening to other media on the TV. Haven’t used it on a trip yet. Only one time that I’m trying to remote play and the PS5 doesn’t turn on. Might be because I haven’t turned the PS5 system on in a while. So somewhat regular use within a week might help with that.

Love this thing it connects well when I’m at home ‘I haven’t used it outside of my home yet but I have a trip coming up and I plan on bringing it along But for the most part it works well while at home

It was definitely a little annoying trying to figure how to make certain games run good, and getting the comfortability of the controls down. Although I still have had a great deal of fun taking this thing out with me and playing games. Excited for the furtive updates!

I wasn't sold on the portal since I had a backbone that works great with my galaxy s24 ultra. But once i got my hands on one i had to get it. The feel of the dual sense controler and great screen is what had me. Great for shareing the living room where others can use the tv and i can still game. Also works great on my breaks at work on thier wifi. It does exactly what it was designed to do.

A lot of people downplayed the portal before release. I will tell you im thoroughly enjoying mine especially when im out and bored I turn on my wifi from my phone and play 2k or MWZ. Of course its not like looking at a gaming monitor cause i believe its only 1080p 60hz but it still give a good gaming experience as long as the wifi is good at the least. Only downside I see is the feeling of cracking the screen, so I went and booght a rubber case with thumb grips for it.

Purchasing the portal was definitely smooth. When I was picking up my order the employee acknowledged me immediately and ofcourse made sure I had the right info to pick up my product

The Playstation Portal is a curious item. It is a niche item that works brilliantly for those that want it but infuriates those that don't. This item is perfect for parents who want to play a game while the TV is occupied. The latency is minimal. The screen is phenomenal for an lcd display. The ergonomics are great. My only gripe is the lack of bluetooth support. It's ridiculous that playstation used proprietary hardware for wireless audio.

Excellent device, it works excellent in home network and it works really good away from home specially using my iPhone hotspot, I live on East Hampton,NY and my parents in the Bronx,NY I m able to play no issues perfect add on device for you PS5. Easy to set up is like a plug and play just using your PlayStation app and you’ll be done in 2-5 minutes. I’ll give 6 stars. Oh it won’t work and public hotspot/wifi that uses 2 steps verification..
