I purchased this to replace an older Sony marine head unit. Sound is much better even with the same speakers. Bluetooth works as it should. I plan to try the direct connect subwoofer option but haven't done so yet.

I had a different Sony unit I had just purchased that was 55X4 watts max (17RMS). I upgraded to this model after a month in a half and beyond my return period, which is ok.
I drive a truck and didn't want to have to install a separate amp. I'm already running a 10" compact sub under the center of the bench seat. However, I have high end speakers in my door around 100watt rms. I wanted a stereo that could keep up with them and was curios to see if I could get stronger mid-tones with this newer model. Sure enough... way louder and fuller. The most important feature to me is the fuller sound... I don't need crazy loud sound, which this radio does... the whole neighborhood can hear my system if I open my door on the truck.
Even though my previous Sony unit (month in a half old... a reminder) had nearly identical menu layouts (this model has more settings/options), sound was completely different. I had to retune my amp and stereo settings. It was worth it though after spending a few hours trying to get everything just right.
I did run a separate constant (yellow wire) 12gauge wire to the radio from the battery which was overkill. 14 gauge would be more ideal and I also installed and inline 15 amp fuse and the rest of the wiring on the stereo worked with the factory harness... including the ground.

I put this in my 2017 Jeep Sahara after having a touchscreen ruined by getting caught in the rain. It sounds great with my system.

Don't buy this stereo lasted exactly 1-1/2 years it started changing colors automatically cutting in/out constantly. reset doesn't work, changed all wiring thinking it was in the wiring. I was never a fan of sony but gave this a try and I am still disappointed.
