Running a PS3 off my TV for viewing Netflix, Hulu, etc. Tires of using the gaming controllers so went looking for a remote that would run everything. Simple set up and now everything is controlled with one controller.

There are some updates on this newer version of the PS3 remote. I was able to sync my VISIO TV with the remote but I was not able to get the remote to synch with my VISIO sound bar. :/ otherwise its a good remote.

Much better than the 1st generation PS3 remote. If you have a SONY receiver you may use it to control it as well. Also, some TVS have full compatibility.

This remote is very easy to key to any peripheral device like your tv, no matter the make. My only wish is that I can control my dish network box too.

The remote is great and easy to use. The buttons are self explanatory and makes controlling the movie function of your PS3 very easy. The remote has a great battery life and the buttons are easy to read. My only complaint is that I wished it could control more products. In order to use as a universal remote control, all your audio and video electronics has to be some type of Sony product.

I use this remote control to control my Sony TV, Sony Sound Bar and PS3 Slim (Blutooth remote controlled) . Very satisfied with the purchase.

I find this remote much more user friendly to access my ps3 for video services vs. the gaming device remote, which sometimes becomes a bit confusing. I hope to see a similar type remote for my ps4 soon.

I picked this up for my ps tv. It is awesome not have to get up to turn on the tv. if you have a ps tv this is nice accessory to have.

This remote makes operating the ps3 a lot easier when you're not using it as a gaming platform. This is my 2nd one; still using the previous one I bought in 2011 until it completely wears out.

Yes this is the best remote for viewing dvds & blue ray's...good quality product from sony! Would have gotten 5 stars, except when it showed up the batteries were dead that came with it.

Absolute ease to set up and use. Whole family adapted in less than a day to control the tv (w/apps) and ps3. Worth the money.

Love that they have this, my girlfriend hates using the normal controller to watch movies, this has saved our relationship!

I have had no problems with the remote. It works great and is convenient instead of having to use the tv remote and ps3 controller.

Very useful, fast and reliable. I use more my PlayStation for Netflix or blue ray movies so its better than using the dualshock

No issues here. Paired easily with playstation and programed to the TV in seconds.

I like this remote b/c I don't have big hands and the remote is easy to navigate. The remote works well with PS3 and my Philips TV.

I like using this remote instead of the controller. Its quicker and all of the buttons are laid out in the open.

Live being able to watch Hulu and Netflix with a real remote and not the game controller. Feature rich and easy to use.

I purchased another remote that Playstation provided Which was a smaller one but this one is better I recommend

This remote is way more convenient to use when using a PS3 to watch DVD/BluRays. The controller works fine, but this remote just feels more natural and functional.
