ots realy easy to use and get used to. I like not using my controller anymore.

Wanted this control for our PS3 to use the Blu-Ray. Easy to use. Highly recommend.

2nd one I have owned. 1st one lasted 8 years but went bad with disuse and battery corrosion or it would still probably work.

Easy to use, much better than using the controller to watch movies and Netflix

I bought this on my son's recommendation, it is in my RV, my primary use of the PSIII is to watch Blue Rays, the gaming is primarily for my Grand kids, if you are watching a lot of BRs or DVDs it makes sense to have a controller designed for it, it works great. I did have some problems finding the code for my TV, it is the one that came with the RV and it was an off brand.

It's easy to operate and for me more confortable than the video game controller.

For a remote for the PS3, this is much handier than to use the controller (especially when it has automatic shutoff and you need to turn it on again; if you don't it drains the battery faster), but it's flawed design doesn't give the ease of picking up the remote properly and use, often having it backwards. If it was weighted somehow or just designed so that picking it up you know you had it correctly would have been significantly better, especially when watching a movie with the lights off. As far as functions, it does what it's supposed to do, but when using it as a TV remote it may not function the way the original does (especially the 3D button for non-SONY 3D TVs). But that was not the purpose of the purchase, but for the ease of watching a movie without pausing. Now it's a shorter pause just to make sure it's facing the right way otherwise it'll read your inputs as you hit them in which comes out being backwards.

I got this remote for when I watch movies on my PS3 which is my primary use of the machine now and it is great. No need to keep turning on the controller for when I need to pause or rewind. Would definitely recommend this if you watch movies on the PS3.

This remote is so much better than the controller when being used for non gaming media. It's lightweight, well laid out, doesn't use the controllers battery charge or need to be turned back on after awhile. Highly recommended.

I finally decided to get the remote after years of trying to navigate Blu-ray movie menus with the controller. This makes it much easier. Additionally since it is Bluetooth, I don't need to point it directly at the PS3. Well worth the price.

Item is amazing! Works well with both ps3 and psTV! Mainly used for psTV to do all the basic functions such as menu options and volume controls. Noticed that it has a button for "AMP" too, can't wait to see what that'll work with... :)

The remote has many features. It makes using the PS3 easy while using it to watch a DVD or things on Netflix.
