Customers are saying
Customers are enthusiastic about the MHC-M20 High-Power Audio System's sound quality, Bluetooth connectivity, and ease of use. Many appreciate its compact size and the inclusion of a CD player, a feature less common in modern systems. While some found the equalizer settings confusing and desired a stronger bass response, the overall reception is positive. The karaoke function also received favorable feedback.

Going Old School
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Remember that boom box you had when you are younger. Yep, this is definitely something pretty similar. In the box, is two speakers and a center unit that has CD player, AM/FM radio, Audio In (to connect to a television for surround sound), and bluetooth connect. There is also a mic plug to plug up a microphone for karaoke. On the back of the center unit is a plug for the included antenna for the radio and an audio out plug. There is no HDMI for sound, which is understandable but it would have been great to pull even better sound for movies and television. Plugging in this system is super simple, plug in the speakers, the audio cord and antenna and you are on your way. There is a remote that changes all settings BUT the bluetooth. You have to use the center console if you would like to change the bluetooth connection to another device. The sound in my opinion is okay, thank goodness there are tons of settings to choose from to make the sound its best for whatever you are using the speakers for. There is the FIESTA setting which is a party mode, so this will definitely great for home parties and get togethers. Overall, I love this system because it replaced my old bedroom system and there are so many options that I can choose from that it makes great sound for the radio, television and my music.

The 1980's Called...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love writing positive reviews that maybe will help fellow consumers out. And I will keep this positive, at least to some extent. As others have written this is great for preteens or young teens when you don't want them to blow up your hard earned and high dollar system. Yes, we guys love our dream systems. So there :) The Sony MHC M20 is, IMHO, overly big hence the 1980's reference. The sub has no real BOOM, but a pleasent compliment to the pretty decent tweeters. I love the DJ mode and pseudo kerioke mode. The light show is sure to be a hit with the kiddo's too. I love that you can add more Bluetooth self powered speakers. This would be cool under the tree for kids, outside at a pool party, or in the garage to have some music while working on the family suv.

Fun sound system
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While I was, and still am, a bit lost with all the remote control features, i had fun playing with the ones i could figure out without consulting the manual first. Hooking up the wires, all included but somewhat shorter than i expected (* maybe 6 to 9 feet, eyeballing), was easy, everything fit where it should. It includes a CD player which i haven't had one of in a few years. The ability to manipulate the sound was impressive and a bit trippy. It plays bluetooth audio seemingly much clearer than FM radio, though I am glad FM is there as a source. The wireless remote was able to even skip songs over bluetooth which, again, I was happy was there. Sound quality varied by setting, and input, which is to say you have control depending on your mood.

Very Pleased
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was on sale, and I needed a replacement. The set-up was easy, and the sound is beyond my expectations. This unit is currently playing a CD. The FM radio has great reception.

Very large size and mediocre sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK. I usually love Sony products but this one is definitely underwhelming. The size is HUGE like I always thought Sony tried to make things smaller, not larger. The sound is very mediocre at best. I really was disappointed.
