i bought these as a gift for my wife. she has been very impressed by the quality for the price compared to the competition. My only "complaint" would be that I would like better battery life, but that is a minor complaint. the earphones sound pretty good even with the NC turned off.

If you're looking for a very reasonably priced set of wired headphone that also have decent noise cancellation capability...These Sony MDRZX110NC/B over-the-ear headphones are for you. Ear Buds never seem to fit properly for me, so I prefer over-the-ear. These are comfortable, provide reasonable sound quality, and come with a GREAT price! I finally wore the predecessor set to these out after many years of use and purchased the MDRZX110NC/B headphones as a replacement and I'm quite satisfied.

I needed a pair of headphones that were comfortable but also actually affordable, I grabbed this pair on sale and they work great. The sound quality is good, the noise cancelling is decent. I can still hear a little bit but it stands up to general noise well. The cushion for ears is very nice, it has just enough, ONLY thing I wish there was maybe a cushion for the top of the headphones, after an hour top of my head starts to hurt from the pressure. I will probably add my own cushion to the top eventually

Headphones are light weight and comfortable to wear. I use them on my treadmill while I watch Netflix and the definitely cancel the noise the treadmill makes.

I use these to watch TV and listen to music. They sound great and are light and comfortable. Excellence product especially for the price. Noise cancelling works great.

Great sound, comfortable, great price, just what I was looking for

These Sony headphones work well, fold up nicely for my backpack while traveling, and provide good sound while plugged into my phone for music. These are not "high end" headphones thus do not carry the high end headphone price. But if you are looking for a good pair of noise canceling, over the ear, headphones for travel at a great price.... stop looking and just get these.

Great pair of headphones - they are relatively light and do cancel noise out. I used them when I traveled but I use them at home as well. The only con is that you have to have a AAA battery and you have to remember to power off the headphones when done (or you risk draining the battery). Not having the battery strength impacts sound quality negatively but other than that, they are great headphones.

Very lightweight and comfortable. The quality is good and works well with my computer and phone. Cancels out all noise. Highly recommend.

Excellent for sound and great for noise cancellation

For a $40 headphone, this fits the bill. I really wanted to buy the Beats by Dre but could not because they require a newer version of Bluetooth. I acknowledge that it is not fair to compare the Beats to this Sony headset. However, the headset's noise canceling ability is impressive. The fit over the ears is also very comfortable and secure. I just wished the cable was a bit longer.

These headphones do a decent job of removing low- end noise. They provide active noise cancellation of constant sounds such as in- flight jet noise. Sound reduction is about 50% especially at 200 hertz and below. Used for 16 hour flight and was able to hear movies well. The headphones rest on the ears but I did not find them too uncomfortable. These headphones are not as amazing as the Bose but for the money are a very good option. 1 double A battery was still strong after 16 hours.

I use these at work to listen to music while I am working at my desk. They do a good job with the active noise cancellation at blocking out the sounds from the HVAC system and the traffic outside. Unfortunately, the passive noise suppression is not quite good enough to block out as much of the office conversation as I would like. They sounds good and feel comfortable, so for the price I still would consider them a good value.

From the regular 20 headphones which by the way lasted a very long time. Had such a good experience with Sony thought i try these. These headphones are sturdy and extreemly comfortable. The sound emission is very good not to mention the noise canceling part most definitely worth the price. My daughter loves these. Although they are not wireless they do require the use of a AAA battery which i found a bit wired. Nonetheless so far so good.

Cost and item is great. Sound is really good and fits well over head.

I purchased these headphones for my wife to use with her iPod I got her for her birthday. They are decent quality and block out sound from the TV. My wife can listen to her music while I am watching a movie and we both can sit in the same room together, She said the headphones are comfortable and they appear to be durable. For the price, they are a good buy.

Bought these great "low tech" wired headphones specifically for plane travel and love them. They're lightweight, pack easily, have great sound and keep you from having to turn on Bluetooth. For security reasons, a huge plus in my book. I recommend them.

sound quality is good. wires are kind of short and had to buy an extender to be able to use them comfortably with my computer.
