Sound is good and the Mic quality is ok, but for the price is not good. You can get better headset for less.

I had a turtle beach before this headset so adjusting was a little slow for me but now I enjoy using these. The battery lasts for quite a couple hours and the headset is comfortable to wear for extended periods. The only downside is I have an external hard drive also so I have to unplug the dongle and plug it back in every time I turn my ps4 on.

These headphones are so good you can hear every minor little thing during the gameplay. I love how you can toggle the game play volume with the chat party audio. They have it so that you choose what you want to hear more I think that’s just nice. Plus chordless, what else can I want.

This is a great headset for games that require you to hear nearby footsteps. My last pair was the gold, I opted for the platinum because my golds cracked after a year of use. The other benefit of upgrading is being able to tell whether sounds are below or above. The only con is that you can't charge and play. You'll get about 8 hours of play time at full charge

I have tried multiple headset from different brands wired and wireless and this headset is the one with the best audio.I also use it on my PC and it sounds better than the A50s and other really good headsets.Battery life is a solid 10 hrs on max volume and its probably the loudest headset with really clear audio no one catches me slipping i hear everything lol

They pair flawlessly and are designed to work in tandem with the PSVR Headset. They are comfortable to wear even with glasses. The headset arms are made from a sturdy plastic that won't flex and break like other similarly designed headphones. The sound quality is great and the ability to control chat volume independently of the game volume is terrific.

I previously had the gold headset and the platinum headset is a nice upgrade. Sound is great, the mic is clear and has decent battery life. Took a couple days for the headset to be comfortable, because I have a big head, but for most people though it shouldn't be a problem. These aren't Astro quality by any means, but for the price its a good choice.

the sound clarity is exceptional, the deep bass rumbles during explosions do not distort. the app lets you control EQ which is a nice feature. the finish on it is extremely well made, they feel and sound worth every penny it costs. my only gripe would be that they are not noise cancelling

I got these on sale for 120.00 at Bestbuy. The look and feel of them is premium. They fit comfortably over my head and around my ears. Sound quality depends upon what your listening to. Most games sound great but Battlefield takes the cake. You really feel like your in the game. The battery life is great and they sync easily to the PS4. They also come with a cord to plug them into other devices to listen to.

They are pretty comfortable, not as much as the PlayStation Gold Wireless headset I had. They were the Uncharted edition. They sound really great. I have had some complaints that I don't sound too good while using them with a PC, but I guess they weren't really made for that.

Sony knows how to make great electronics and their platinum headset is a great example. With 7.1 surround sound and the only headset available that gives true 3D sound on VR games. Don’t pay for overpriced headsets that won’t even compare to these. Do your research, Sony has a very in depth description of what these have on their website.

I had to update my old PS headphones so I got a nice sale on these. Great sound, pretty good battery life, but a little uncomfortable after wearing for a while. The band on the top is a rubbery material that hurts my head after a bit. Still, the 3D is a nice effect if the PS4 games have it. And my PSVR sounds fantastic with these

These headphones are comfortable and comes with a myriad of settings available on the side of headphones. The coolest thing about the headset is the apps available for download throughgame console. The headphone app allows you to download customized sound settings designed for specific games, this truly enhances gameplay quality!

I got the Sony Platinum headphones to replace an older model that the lining wore off of, and they are a major upgrade. They don’t squeeze my ears as much as I thought they would, and the Virtual Surround Sound mode is awesome. I was considering purchasing a surround sound system for the tv my PS4 is attached to, but I just might use these instead and save some money.

The sound is awesome on these headphones. It gives great 3D sound and when people come up behind you in the games you can actually tell the difference.

Did a ton of research. Bought, tried, and returned six other brands. Overall, just couldn't beat these. Are they the most amazing headsets? Nah. But really, really good. And consistent. Very few cutouts on my PS4 Pro, unlike other brands that seemed to cut out nearly every session. For the price, hard to beat these.

This headset was well worth the money. The sound that comes out of these things is top notch. You can change the sound profile for different types of games such as FPS, Action and horror, to name a few, using the free PS4 app. They are also truly wireless, no need to plug into your controller, all you need to do is plug the USB receiver into the system and your good to go.

I got these a little cheaper through price matching from another store. After using them for a week or 2, this headset is great for the fill price. They are very easy to use and set up. Feel great on your head and the sound is amazing. I do wish they had the ability to connect your phone to them through bluetooth.

You can't go wrong with this wireless headset. It's literally plug and play and the quality from Sony isn't lacking as the aluminum band is sturdy and the cuffs comfortable. The button layout is minimal making changes as you play effortless. I've had this set for nearly 2 years after my Golds broke from the hinges but this one is here to stay.
