Playstation Camera is needed for VR with makes the experience better but if you don't have VR the Camera is pointless unless your a broadcaster, don't have a headset mic or want to use the voice commands. Still worth it price is reasonable.

If you want to live stream from PS4 you need this camera. Works perfectly for everything you want to do. The image is clear and the microphone works well.

I just broke into streaming my online game play from my PS4, and wanted to add more than just my voice. The 4 only has one camera that is compatible with the system, and it's their's. The closer you sit in front of it, the better you will look. Once you are about 6ft out, you'll start to lose facial features and may look grainy. However, it works just fine, and I've had no problems with it. The stand can be mounted to a TV or monitor. It really just hangs there, but it will not fall off. The stand can also be positioned so that you can set the camera on a desk or table. I'm satisfied with it, and again, no troubles.

Works excellent with my ps4, easy to set up but a little awkward depending on the shape of your flat screen if you intend to mount there. I had to buy velcro to keep mine secure.

Alows you to access the playroom on the ps4 and other games that require the camera including the Playstation vr. You can also use this to stream on twitch and ustream. A cool device for the ps4.

It’s pretty good for its price and it does its job. Good for streaming or for games. Definitely recommend if needed!

We decided to purchase the camera for the PS4 game "Just Dance 2017". It works very well for gaming but we find ourselves using it for just about everything. We use the camera to interact with the PS4, video chat with friends & family, but more importantly we use it to keep an eye on things at the house. I can remote into the PS4 from work and view what the camera sees. I'm able to check on our dogs, who roam freely throughout the house. The camera has a microphone, so if the dogs are on the couch, I can tell them to "get down" lol. The dog's reaction to my voice is absolutely hilarious. I highly recommend this Playstation camera, wish I bought it sooner.

I never used the camera before until i bought the VR. After buying, I realized how much fun the camera can be, even when not used with the VR. It is a great addition to the PS 4 system.

Quick set up and easy to understand directions. This is a must for all new VR gaming. Also recommend getting the camera extension cords for easier placement near your game setup.

My teenage boys use this camera all the time while playing the playstation. games. Picture quality is excellent and it was a piece of cake to set up. Just plug it in and go.

Needed this for my playstation VR and was easy to setup. The built in microphone lets use voice commads to control certain aspects of the playstation.

I only bought this camera to use it with my PSVR since it is required in order to detect head motion from the VR unit. I have to say it is a step-up from the Playstation 3's camera, especially the placement. It can hang onto any television with it's folding bracket, making it adjustable to point towards the viewer. What I also found pretty interesting is that I can use it as a microphone to talk with people online as well. In addition, you can voice command the PS4 to operate certain things (though I don't really use that function when I have the controller).

This camera seems to be working great, my child loves it for streaming with friends and the price was not crazy as he is new to the streaming stuff.

This camera is by far better than the first release. Easy set up, easy to adjust and has wider range. My kids (and husband) are having a blast with this set. Love it

Very easy to install. Our first gaming system and the camera was easy to set up. Would be better if it came with an adjustable stand. Has an adjustable arm to rest on tv but is useless.

It was easy ordering online and going into the store to pickup my items without any hassle and also able to have more time to shop for additional item while I was there. This camera is also newer than the one I had and better performance.

This is a must have for VR. the new round design is better than the old square design. The only thing I did not like is for the camera to detect the VR headset.

So come to find out that the packages deal I bought the same day actually came with this same camera so I needed up taking this one back only because I didn’t need it. However the one that came with the deal had the exact one in it so I can say that it works great, takes some adjusting or getting use to but over all its a great addition and you need it for the virtual games
