I primarily use the camera to go with the VR and it works great. No hiccups at all. Decent mic as well.

I purchased the playstation camera specifically because it's required to use the vr headset. It works well. I've had no issues, and it was easy to set up. Pretty much plug and play. I've also tried out some of the voice commands in the menus and what not... they do work, but they're just not for me personally. Overall, I'd recommend buying if you're interested in exploring some of the "outside the box" capabilities of your ps4.

Improved camera for the ps4. Adds cool missing elements to your ps4 that you dont have without this

Works great, easy to set up, the mount is a little difficult to set up on a tv, but not impossible.

Every time i log into my ps4 i doit through face recognition with this camera and when i stream games people are able to see me. Overall is a great accessory for the ps4

This is essential if you are using VR. But not needed for much else. The stand is nice but more challenging than needed

I'm still feeling out this item. I purchased it so that we can play the just dance (in the abscense of internet). So far we are getting a hang of it and it recognizes everyone that is playing the game. it also allowed features in other parts on the playstation. vr room i think is what it was called. i t hink this saved me money because we have 4 players and didn't want to buy 4 hand wands for $200, turns out it would've needed this camera as well.

Works as advertised. Necessary for VR and is a great tool for streaming too.

Camera works flawlessly on the PS4 as one would expect. Setup was a breeze and the camera is clear and smooth

Easy to setup with PS4, had a blue screen but needed more light on me and the background to use chroma key. Perfect if your streaming with PS4 but if your PC better off with Logitech or dale if you have one already. Chroma key was a hassle to get it to look right. Other then that perfect for PS4, no addditional software just plug and play on PS4

I was very impressed with the functionality of the vr. I was sadly disappointed in the stand that the camera came with; The stand is for adjusting the camera for people who are of different height. I understand how sensitive the camera is and the purpose for that however it would b nice if the camera stand was more adjustable. We ended up having to be creative with items in the house in order to get the camera to stay. (perhaps we just don't know how to use it)

This isn't essential but it is fun for the mini games. Plus can't wait to use it for vr.

The new camera design for the PS4 camera is just better than the first one because you can adjust it to any location. I also love the tit comes with a stand. I bought this camera for the Just Dance game and the capture quality is just awesome as well! The quality is super HD that I was shocked, but also happy as well! This is a purchase that I will be recommending to everyone who has a PS4.

The camera has a great picture and it is great for streaming games and Twitch.

First of, deeply annoyed this does not come with the headset. I understand some people may already have this camera prior to the PSVR release and the for the launch and pre-orders there were bundles. However, there still needs to be bundles! How would you like purchasing a $500 object that you can't even use because you don't have a $60 camera? Please buy this if you are getting a PSVR! Second, the camera is so out of date. Beyond the old camera, there is no difference only in shape and maybe clearer picture. But come on, you're not using this to take pictures. If you are using this for PSVR it will not move to track your body. You will have to move it yourself by hand. That's right! Xbox made a better product almost 10 years ago and PlayStation is still using the same camera from that time that pales in comparison with no added updates. Really would be great if it could track your hands and fingers so you didn't have to use Move controllers or the Dualshock remote. However, the camera does work as advertised for the VR headset so I can't really give it a totally bad review just because I think it should be more than it is. No lag issues noted and it smoothly helps me feel integrated into the VR world. Also, the microphone works well for voice commands in the PlayStation menu.

I love being able to drop into a vr game with my ps4. The camera works great.
