Just got my PS VR two yesterday. Looking forward to it since it’s gonna be a rainy weekend and completely disappointing that the right controller trigger doesn’t work.

I recently purchased the Sony PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle in White, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations! This bundle offers an incredible virtual reality gaming experience that truly immerses you in the world of gaming like never before.
The PlayStation VR2 headset is comfortable to wear, with an ergonomic design that allows for extended gaming sessions without discomfort. The visuals are stunning, with vibrant colors and impressive clarity that makes you feel like you're actually inside the game. The headset is also lightweight, which adds to the overall comfort.
The Horizon Call of the Mountain game included in this bundle is a masterpiece. The graphics are breathtaking, and the gameplay is smooth and engaging. The virtual reality aspect adds a whole new level of immersion, making you feel like you're exploring the stunning landscapes and battling formidable enemies alongside Aloy.
The bundle also includes the PlayStation Move controllers, which enhance the gaming experience by allowing for more precise and intuitive control. The controllers are easy to use and responsive, making gameplay feel natural and immersive.
Setting up the PlayStation VR2 is a breeze, thanks to the clear and straightforward instructions provided. The system seamlessly integrates with the PlayStation console, and the tracking is accurate, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable gaming experience.
Overall, the Sony PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle in White is a must-have for any gaming enthusiast. It offers a truly immersive and breathtaking virtual reality experience that elevates gaming to a whole new level. Whether you're a fan of the Horizon series or simply want to explore the world of virtual reality gaming, this bundle is definitely worth every penny.

Played a few games with it so far. System is easy to set up and use. Haptics and headset rumble are excellent and controllers are great. Graphics are a pretty big bump up from original PSVR and immersion is excellent. Motion controls are smoother and much better than original PSVR but still glitch from time to time. Thumb sticks are a welcome addition. The passthrough video is also something I never knew I needed until I had it.
My main cons are:
Overall price and the amount of at least AA games available that appeal to me personally.
Headset has a very small sweet spot and will sag and go blurry unless you have it headache-inducingly tight. Also, if you have glasses the HonsVR lenses (or equivalent) are a good idea.
Battery life isn't great with the controllers. Maybe 2-3 hours tops. I got the dock and that helped as long as I faithfully charge after every use it.
I'm happy with my purchase given the $200 off sale. I understand the value it offers (foveated rendering, eye tracking, resolution bump, OLED panels, etc., but it's still not worth it at full price IMO.

The PlayStation VR 2 (PSVR 2) promises an immersive virtual reality experience for PlayStation enthusiasts. The improved display resolution and enhanced graphics contribute to a more realistic and engaging visual experience. The redesigned headset offers increased comfort, ensuring extended gaming sessions remain enjoyable. The upgraded tracking and controllers enhance precision, providing a more accurate representation of hand movements in virtual environments. The ease of setup and compatibility with the PlayStation ecosystem are commendable aspects. However, potential downsides might include the price point and the availability of a diverse range of VR titles. Overall, the PSVR 2 stands as a promising evolution in virtual reality gaming for PlayStation users

Certainly better than the PSVR1... just maybe not quite $600 better. Super lightweight and comfortable at first, but I find myself overtightening it as it gradually slides down my face. There's some backwards compatibility, but not a whole lot. I bought a ton of PSVR1 games and I think in total I have two free upgrades and two paid/discounted upgrades. The controllers are improved over the moves, only now they're almost too complicated. They're tricky to set down and put back on. I've found myself hitting the PS button accidentally a few times and they're a bit cramped.
Having said that, not setting up an external camera is so essential that I'm never going back to the old set. Being able to turn on the external camera and see Reality Reality in hugely convenient, even if it's just black and white. Graphics are a significant step up. Playing something like Pistol Whip is such an improvement that I don't know how I managed before. Overall, it's a mixed bag given how expensive it is, which could have been said for the PSVR1 as well. Still, VR is just really fun and this is a nice option when you don't own a gaming PC.

Pros
- High quality HDR OLED display with high refresh rate and decent pixel density
- Eye tracked foveated rendering
- Eye tracking in general is very good with PS5 games
- Easy to use (with PS5, not PC)
- Excellent value since it can be used with PS5 and PC
- Must have the Globular Cluster CMP2 (Amazon)
Cons
- Returned 4x before getting a headset with mostly working controllers.
- Pooooor quality lenses
- Very tiny sweet spot. Don't move your eyes to look around, move your entire head. Again, must have the Globular Cluster CMP2 (Amazon) to keep the sweet spot.
- Cheap headphones. We're talking Skull Candy gas station quality.
- Poor build quality/materials. Feels extremely cheap when you stretch it out to put it on. Also, the only time your hands touch this headset is when you stretch it out to put it on.
- Janky controller tracking that somehow works better on PC than PS5.
This headset is a conundrum. Sure the HDR OLED panels and high refresh rate are amazing, and sure the pixel density is fine, but the headset itself does not feel premium. It feels quite cheap. Also, the lenses are very bad and have a tiny sweet spot. Don't let people fool you, it is tiny. I think Sony wants you to move your head when looking in any direction other than directly forward, yet they included eye-tracked foveated rendering. It really is a conundrum. Also, the controllers suck big time. Horizon Call of the Wild is a massive pain to get working. I've had to return 4 different headsets for controller issues before finally settling on one that worked more often than not. Even now I have to turn a controller on and off every time I start certain games. Surprisingly, this isn't an issue on PC with the right Bluetooth adapter (TP-Link WITH firmware update).
I recommend this so long as you know what you're getting into and want one headset to use with both PS5 and PC.

If the only game I ever play on this is GT7 then it will easily justify the purchase price. I have also been playing the Star Wars VR game and it is very good as well. I'm sure there will be more to come. This is very similar to the original PS VR but is lighter, easier to use and has significantly better resolution. The graininess is there but you have to look for it. It is easier to set up and the controls are a huge improvement over the Motion controllers. I have never used any VR head set other than Sony's so I can't comment on how this compares to the competition. From what I have seen though this is an excellent value, super easy to use and the games are very fun to play. I was afraid they might over think the second version and keep trying to add another whistle before it ships. Instead I think this is an excellent upgrade that will make for some excellent gaming.

The PlayStation VR2 offers an improved virtual reality experience compared to its predecessor. The higher resolution display and enhanced tracking contribute to a more immersive and visually appealing experience. The simplified setup process is a positive aspect, making it more accessible for users. However, some users might find the lack of major hardware advancements disappointing, as it still relies on the PlayStation camera for tracking. Overall, the PlayStation VR2 is a solid choice for PlayStation enthusiasts and those looking to dive into VR gaming, but it may not be a significant upgrade for existing VR users with high-end headsets.

It took a few tries to set up properly, but once it's up and running, the experience is wonderful. Ive tried around 4 games so far and they look incredible. It did give me a bit of virtigo with the games you have to move around a lot (not physically but within the game). After playing more it did get better.

This has been my first VR experience. When I unboxed and started it up I wasn’t very impressed. I thought why did I just drop so much money.. Picture quality was blurry and foggy. And the motion sickness is real! But after watching suggestions on how to make the picture quality better, there is a sweet spot different for every person, it was a game changer no pun intended. The motion sickness gets better in time. Take it slow, 30 min variable’s at a time. After using and getting used to it for 3 weeks now I am completely hooked! I started with Star Wars: Tales From the Galaxy which helped with motion sickness and overall controls. Then moved to GT7 which looks great, especially when walking around the cars at the outdoor location. The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners chapter 1 & 2 was my next purchase. Ive always loved putting zombies down but with the full immersion of VR it brings it to a whole other level! Arizona Sunshine 2 was awesome and I’m currently playing Resident Evil 4.
It’s taken some time to get into VR but so glad I did! Would highly recommend if you already own a PS5 and have an additional $600 to spend!

The Sony PlayStation VR2 is a game-changer for virtual reality enthusiasts! The high-resolution OLED display and eye-tracking technology provide an incredibly immersive experience. The Sense controllers are responsive and add a new level of interaction to games. The setup is straightforward, and the overall build quality is excellent. While it requires a connection to the PS5, the powerful graphics and smooth gameplay make it worth it. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their gaming experience!

My first experience with VR and am pleasantly surprised. The setup was easy and the controls are very intuitive. The quality of the oled screens are phenomenal and the graphics are very immersive. The price is a little steep, and if they had included the charge station for the controllers it would've made the price tag a little more justifiable.

Great improvement from generation 1 just the ease of use can't say enough the controllers are better you don't need a camera to track your movements the games look better graphically it reads all your movements correctly easier use of tracking adjusting the way you play just everything is just easy.
