I bought these speakers for my 13 yr. old son. He loves it. The speaker is really loud and the clarity of sound is superb.

They had this set up in the store. You push a button and hear some crystal clear sound and decent bass. I was sold! So I buy one and take it home. Hook it up with my Echo Dot. Play some tunes and its ... muffled. It did not sound near as clear as the one in the store. I have tried different songs and they just sound muffled. The clear resonance I heard in the store was not there. The bass is decent for a bluetooth. But this was not worth the $70 tag. I have reverted to just using the default speaker on the Echo Dot which sounds better.

The Boombox has amazing sound quality and great bass for the size of the thing. It makes me feel like I am at a concert.

This is a good speaker. The sound quality is awesome and the bass is on point. You can also sync 2 together.

First off I will say the best sound from a Bluetooth speaker I have heard is from a Bose. (no surprise there) This one is not a Bose so don't put that kind of expectation on it. Back to the actual speaker you are reading about: it has a great range of sound including decent base and when the volume is up high it doesn't get washed. Overall this is the best bang for you buck when it comes to a small speaker that has great sound. One drawback is if you listen to the speaker frequently and at a high volume it does not last the full 'estimated battery life'. To me that is a small con but a con none the less so I thought I would add that in.
