I'm using this camera for outdoor productions and I'm very satisfied with the quality and ease of use, everything a professional camera needs to be for half the price and size.

The CX900 does everything I was looking for, plus it does some things much better than expected.

The camera is very easy to use and it can be handled easily. The picture quality is amazing for the size of the camera.

The image quality is excellent when camera is connected with the HDMI connection to a HD television. I have, however, not been able to find software for burning DVDs on my computer for video recorded in XAVC S format using the memory card. Will DVDs in XAVC S format play on most DVD players or does it take a player especially designed for XAVC S ?

I am an avid camera user and bought this camera as a step up from a cheaper model. I have now used this camera for about 3 weeks and the picture quality especially when you zoom into a distant object are much worse than my previous much cheaper model. I am very disappointed

I have had this camera for two years and used it for recording high school plays, the picture is excellent and it brings in the sound very good, highly recommend this if your looking for excellent videos

I bought this video camera because of th 1" CCD chip for better night shooting of sports under high school stadium lights. I didnt see a review specifically addressing this feature and I hoped for the best. It hasn't disappointed. It is a little heavy, and did not come with a strap.

The camera is great, but am a bit annoyed over the change from the D port to a Mini USB type Multiport. Had to get a multi to d port adapter for it or the alternative which is all new multi port cables.

Got this on I assume a clearance special. Have always loved this camera. If you want broadcast quality video and don't care about 4k video, I highly suggest this model.

We thought our old sony was good, but this one has much clearer picture. We are loving it.

This is a great camera for a beginner and a pro with its large 1" sensor, ease of zoom, large screen & view finder for a very enjoyable shooting experience. I use 3 of these Sony cameras for a internet tv show that I produce and the reason I have 3 of these cameras is because the first one was a home run for me. Read plenty of reviews and specs before buying and you will see how loaded this camera is with features and how much people really love it.

Camera very easy to use. Great picture quality. Instructions on how to switch to MP3 format a little confusing.

The camera is not for a begginer. It has too many not so simple effects.

Great camcorder...lightweight..great in low light Situations. I purchased the cam with the expectation that I would need additional lighting. Well, I did not. I have taken vid of low light settings as well as out scenes and this cam has been flawless. I am enjoying post production efforts have been greatly reduced as well.

Make sure you don't take a lot of footage and then try to load it to your computer.... Its not like the old camera's where they import the drivers automatically. Maybe it is a Apple / Mac issue; don't know, don't care.. Just want things to be simple again!!!

This is a very compact and easy to use camcorder. Easily fits in a small bag or tote.

I'm a professional event vidoegrapher doing weddings, bands, plays etc. I've been shooting with a Sony Z5U 3-chip 6lbs camera that I thought was pretty good. Then I bought one of these to use as a b-roll. Well all I can say is, ain't technology wonderful...this thing beats my Z5u and is 1/3 the size and weight! A narrow depth of field, wide dynamic range(turn off auto backlight outside), superb low light performance, amazing auto white balance, big lcd, wow steadyshot, and a picture that is superior in just about every respect. Add to that a 50mbps mode, lossless audio(pcm 48khz) and manual controls and I'm scratching my head trying to find a reason to keep my big Sony. It does lack xlr inputs, has just a 12x zoom(but 24x clear image zoom is quite usable). I'm blown away.

I bought the camera and when I moved it to the sides I was concerned about some lines appearing , I downloaded the videos on an apple computer and it had those lines. Then I used a pc and everything went alright the lines disappeared .The video quality is excellent. The sound is a little low. At first it didn't accepted the video card. Now it works perfect.
