Bought it to use for school. It worked very well and it was easy to operate.

I record meetings in a large hall. I didn't think it would capture comments from the back of the room, but it does a pretty good job of it. And transcribing from the audio file is much, much faster and easier than working with a cassette recorder. Should have changed over long ago.

Compact and ready to use. Not difficult to operate. Need to increase the volume on playing the messages back, but decent sound quality. My wife is using it to record her 94 year old mothers’ stories from long ago.

Was very simple to set up and begin using. The microphone is quite sensitive and picks up background noise such as if it is carried in a pocket and the fabric rubs it. All around a very good product for the price.

Portable and really capured i needed it for,it is very clear and you can play music o. It . I recommend it to everyone.

I this recorder is easy to use, it's good for practicing your presentation as you can record yourself and then evaluate where you can improve your speech

The sound (recorded off a saved phone recording) was fantastic! Using the recorder was extremely easy. The quality of the sound was very impressive.

This item is pretty easy to set up and use. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the sound quality. It sounds quite "tinny" when playing back recorded messages.

I bought this early on before I learned about the 'preferred' recorders - but this one is superb and is the one I use all the time. Easy to use, defaults to MP3, and has great sound.

Recordings were very clear. Expandable storage is useful for multiple recordings. Easy to download files to computer.

Another superb Sony electronic device! I had an issue with a water leak in a brand-new home I had just purchased & this was a great tool to record an otherwise difficult issue to report. I recorded the nusiance dripping sounds & attached them to an e-mail sending it to the property manager to investigate. What a tremendous help to establish credibility for warranty service!
