Makes recording video on my A7 easy

It acts like a Lanc device and can operate you camera as a dslr or a video camera without having to push the small record button. It will also zoom a power zoom lense if you have one.

I am able to clip this right onto the handle of the tripod wand and have all of the controls right at my thumb! I am very happy with it!

Much better than expected for a prosumer device

However, I found it quite serviceable in live broadcast situation. The fact that it has variable zoom capabilities based on finger pressure is impressive.
