This controller adds some customizability and comfort. Used for about a year now and often. No stick drift until now. Ironically, the replacement stick modules are out of stock everywhere. Sole purpose was to change thumb stick module for $20 vs having to buy a new controller every 3 months. If i wouldve known they are hard to come by I wouldve considered other option. Otherwise the controller is great

I’d give Sony’s PlayStation stick module a solid 4/5 overall. The biggest win is how it makes controller maintenance feel way less like a “replace the whole thing” situation and more like a quick, practical fix. Swapping a drifting stick is straightforward, and it’s genuinely satisfying knowing you can get your controller feeling fresh again without tossing the entire unit. It also feels like Sony finally acknowledged the reality of heavy use—especially for games that are brutal on sticks. That said, it’s not a perfect victory lap. The price is the main sticking point: even though it’s cheaper than buying a whole new controller, it still feels a bit steep for what is essentially a wear item. I also wish availability and stocking were more consistent, because a modular repair idea only really shines when the replacement parts are easy to grab. And while the swap is simple, it’s still a little annoying that this kind of “planned wear” is something players have to deal with at all—Sony could be doing more on the durability front so replacements aren’t needed as often. In the end, it’s a great step in the right direction: convenient, cleaner than full replacements, and a real quality-of-life upgrade for people who actually put hours into their controllers. But between the cost and the fact that it feels like a solution to a problem that shouldn’t be so common, it lands at 4 stars—recommended, just not without reservations.

Everyone knows of the stick drift issues that come with the controllers. This sis the best thing they could've done in terms of allowing people to switch out old worn faulty joysticks. If you are a best buy member top tier maybe any tier I am not sure but once you replace your first one you can just exchange it for free.Woukd recommend anyone who is tired of buying new controllers every couple of months to invest in the edge and then buy their replacement joy sticks when needed can't go wrong if you do.

Bought one of these just in case one of the sticks go out. Easy to switch out and works perfectly when I tested it. Highly recommend grabbing one to have in case you get stick drift.

The PS5 edge controller is absolutely the only controller I will ever own. I got stick drift after having it 2 years. Bought this replacement joystick and it was so simple easy and quick to remove and drop another one in its ridiculous. Most definitely the way to go!

Works good as a replacement. Having a driftless option would’ve been better but it’s good for what it is.

These joystick replacements are so worth it when it comes to owing the dualsense edge controller just because in my opinion it gets expensive and time consuming buying a new controller every couple months when the normal ps5 controllers get drift . Whereas i buy two replacement joysticks when ever i have terrible drift and atleast its something i could change myself. And then the extra joystick stays unused until i need it.

I purchased the DualSense Edge Stick Module from Best Buy as a backup for my DualSense Edge controller, and it exceeded my expectations. Installation is quick and tool free. Sony really designed this module for ease of replacement. Within minutes, I had the new stick installed and functioning like brand new. If you’ve started noticing drift or wear on your original sticks, this is an essential fix and far more affordable than replacing the whole controller. Highly recommend grabbing one or two if you own the Edge controller.

Does what it's intended for, had to get a replacement for a broken joystick on my Dualsense Edge, very easy to replace on your own and the controller worked like a charm afterwards. I managed to order two so I have another as a back up and would recommend for everyone to do the same since availability seems to be an issue with these.

This is the only route to choose when it comes to video game controllers, the overall issue with controllers is stick drift and this solves that problem effortlessly, it has already paid for itself because I could easily go through 5 high end controllers in a year due to stick drift and rigorous gameplay. Replacing one takes less than 30 seconds and I’ve done it mid game. The official controller case has a holder for one of these which makes it perfect for carrying around extra. Stop wasting money replacing controllers.

Your quality of life as a PlayStation gamer and your pocket will thank you. Being able to replace stick drifting analog sticks by just replacing the stick and not the controller is amazing! Easy to swap out and get right back to the action!

This controller works with both PC and PS5 and ias swappable stick toggles when you start to experience stick drift. 20 bucks to save a controller, rather than 70 bucks to buy a new one. Only problem is that the replacement parts are always out of stock for the last 8 months. Luckily i bought 4 with the controller

A must have, i brough them in pairs. I usually have stick drift with the regular controller. Went through three of them. Now im only on my first edge controller. Only need to replace one of them through the two years of owning the edge.
