Quick delivery. Excellent player. Best Buy's the BEST! AAA+++

This is my first standalone BR player (not counting ps4/5) Over all I like the size and build quality but had higher expectations Things that I did not like 1- no usb port in the back, when connecting external HDD, I would want the wires tucked in the back . Also the usb player interface could be Better. 2- 3d play back would often go out of synch. Since ps5 doesn’t support 3d playback (shame on Sony) this is an important feature. 3- remote is clunky. I couldn’t get used to operating it in dark when watching a movie and almost l always pressed the wrong button. The button layout is not user friendly.

I bought this when my brother gave me his older 4k tv. So glad i bought this bluray player. It plays my dvds perfectly. But more importantly, it lets me access my streaming apps, which turned out to be very important because the tv was glitchy and kept freezing up with certain apps.

Great picture and not too expensive however high quailty

A fan of LG products, this replaced an 4K LG Blu-ray that I've never been happy with. The Sony one powers up instantly, turns off instantly, and responds to other commands without delay. Also no skipping or blanking out of video. The audio output on the Sony is a big improvement also - easy to understand the voices over the background music and sound effects.

It reads all disc formats, it has a USB port for fast access that can be used to view photos, music and Videos or movies. ones you guest used to the remote control, its user friendly. It reads MKV formats, some movies that I have run, the codes that were used for sounds were not recognized (this happens when the person making the video uses generic video programs).

I love it it’s a beautiful picture and please my 4K just fine.

This player has all the goodies I needed and for a competitive price ($200). The picture looks great on our 4K TV and sounds excellent on our Yamaha TSA-700 running a 5.1 surround sound system. It does everything as advertised and even came with an HDMI compatible cord. It was easy to set up and sync it to my WIFI, even for an older guy like me.

Did a lot of research for the best player that wasn’t totally overpriced and this one kept coming up on top. It’s region free which is a bonus. The upscale of DVDs is one of the main reasons for buying.

Best DVD player I ever. And there is so much more to this UBP-X700/M. The background the movies that use to be so dark I could hardly see the people. Now it is so much better now that I can see the people.

We have a lot of DVDs, and have 2 other DVD players. But we needed a third one for our main TV. We love it. It was very easy to set up, and we are enjoying watching our DVDs.

I got this awhile back. I wanted to be able to play some new Dolby Atmos blue rays along with some of my older DVDs. & this fits the bill, even came with an HDMI cord. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Nothing but praise for this Sony Dolby Vision ultra Blu-ray player. Handles everything I throw at it, sound and picture top quality. Sony has one more model up in this range but I really don't see any benefit to getting it. The only difference is the build quality is a little more solid but what other than that this is the one to get.

Overall, I'm very happy with this blu-ray player. Playing movies and media from a USB is great, as expected. If I had one small gripe (very small), it would be the number of streaming apps available. I'd rather just use my Apple TV or Fire Stick.

When my last Sony brand DVD player quit after many years of excellent service I went out and bought another. This new DVD player has the same excellent quality. I trust the Sony brand for their reliable products.

Great 4k Blu-ray player with high quality picture

Easy to install and set up and provides a great picture.

This is an excellent DVD player. I love that I can fast forward or reverse the video. Great for finding that special segment or favorite actor. And then you can watch that part over and over again! Easy to set up, easy to use!

I upgraded to a 4k player from Blu-Ray to watch a few specific movies I owned, and this one is easy to use and looks amazing. Very happy with this player - really everything you would want
