The setup was easy and comes preloaded with many one-click 'apps'. You can also add apps as well as delete any you would not use.

It’s a Blu-Ray player; it does everything you would expect one to do! Simple setup out of the box, my complaint is that it’s weighted down with extraneous software and streaming services that slow down UI response and the machine in general. I know it’s endemic to new devices, but with a dozen other ways to access NetFlix (if I cared), I would rather have a snappier experience with my physical media player.

Came to learn and experience just after my return window ended that this player has a major defect, and that is BD-100 4k discs regularly skip during playback. No scratches on these discs I’ve played, I assure you. Dolby vision support looks great but this is a ridiculous, unacceptable defect, as half if not most 4k discs available are BD-100s.

Great buy, sony is the way to go!! For 4k player, took a while of looking at different ones before this buy. Got to say it was the best choice.
