Thank you for your feedback! We're delighted to know that you are impressed with the picture and sound quality of the player. However, we regret to inform you that the player does not support adding or downloading apps. You can only use the pre-installed apps that come with it. New apps can only be added if there is a firmware update available for the player.

The new model works fine so far. I would prefer a DVD player which also takes PAL system DVDs but there were none available in the store. Salesman was very helpful.
